Also would be wise to have most ingredients prepped prior to trip. Drink choices are determined by the scouts who are attending the trip. Pour / cup egg beater into a baggie, seal the baggie, place all in boiling water. While thats cooking, using a skillet, saute the onions and peppers, then add potatoes. Once eggs are done, put them in the tortilla, add the cooked veggies, salsa, shredded cheese and roll it up. Zip-loc Omelette Recipe eggs grated cheese ham bits salt, pepper, other desired spices. Bring water to boil in large pot. Crack eggs into zip-loc baggie. Add ham bits. Add spices. Close and shake to mix. Use paper clip to hold tops of all baggies together so they do not melt on the side of the hot pot. Place baggies into hot water. Boil until eggs are firm and cooked. Box of variety oatmeal Store Bought Instant Oatmeal Country Western Breakfast Dozen Eggs cup of Milk Package of Bacon Green Onions Bag of Potaotes or Bag of Diced potatoes Loaf of Bread Jam of their choosing Add oil to Crock pot and cook the diced potatoes, stir occasionally. Mixed together eggs and milk to make scramble eggs, cook in skillet. When the potaoes are almost done, add the green onions. Toast the bread and spread jam over it 5 BREAKFAST HASH - medium potatoes, diced into bite size pieces package smoky links, diced into bite size pieces medium onion, chopped (optional) cup sliced mushrooms (optional) cup diced red, green, yellow pepper (optional) eggs scrambled / - cups shredded cheddar cheese Cook potatoes for about 0-5 minutes, add the smoky links and any of the optional ingredients you choose, and cook until the potatoes are cooked through. Pour in the scrambled eggs and cook until eggs are done. Top with shredded cheese and let melt (or mix in). Enjoy!

Breakfast Choices Page 6 SKILLET BREAKFAST - slices bacon, fried & crumbled mushrooms, sliced, or half a small can, drained slices bread, buttered then diced eggs Pepper to taste Use a big pan, preferably non-stick for easier cleaning. This recipe is for serving! If making it for a large number, you'll want to drain some of the grease. In the hot grease, fry the bread & pepper, allowing it to get golden on all sides. Add mushrooms, stirring, until they sweat. Break eggs into pan, stir all together. Cook, stirring often, until done, maybe - minutes. Salt to taste & enjoy! 7 HUSH PUPPIES cups Corn Meal tsp. Salt tsp. baking powder / cup dry milk cup water tbls. dry onion flakes Shape the above ingredients into patties. Fry in bacon fat in a cast iron skillet. Brown on both sides. These hush puppies go real good with some freshly caught fish while you are camping! ORANGE CUP CINNAMON ROLLS Oranges Can of biscuits Cinnamon Powdered Sugar Little bit of milk Cut / of the orange off and scrape pulp from the insides of both pieces. Take biscuit and mash out. Sprinkle a little powdered sugar and cinnamon and layer with another biscuit and repeat. Usually takes or biscuits. Roll up the layered biscuits and put into the hollowed orange. Add about a tablespoon of powdered sugar on top and a teaspoon of milk. Replace top and wrap in tin foil. Place in coals of campfire for about 0 minutes. Remove, unwrap, pull top off and out pops a delicious cinnamon roll with a hint of orange flavor! 9 ORANGE CUP EGGS 6 Oranges Dozen eggs, or litre of egg beaters Cut an orange in half. Scoop it out completely and eat the orange. Leave the rinds or whatever they're called. It should look like a small round bowl. Crack an egg and put it in the orange. Throw it on some coals and scramble or fry it. As soon as it turns white its ready. Delicious breakfast. 0 French Toast

If hamburger is cooked at home, this can be a cold lunch with no mess or clean-up. You can use a can of chili rather than hamburger and beans. Sandwiches 6 to loaves of Bread Mayo Sliced Cheese, packaged of 6 Lunch Meat, enough for 6 Head of Lettuce Tomatoes Does it need explaining? Easy Pigs in a Blanket 9- Sliced Bread - loaf = 9- scouts Butter Cheese Slices Hot Dogs Optional: Instead of bread, you can substitue it with Pilsbury crescent rolls Take two slkices of bread, butter one side of each piece. Cook over fire or skillet until golden brown on the buttered side. Put a cheese slice on unbuttered side of one prece of bread, melt cheese.put a hot dog diagonally on top of the cheese so ends of hot dog are at corners of the bread. Roll hot dog up in the sandwich and fold over to make a wrap. DUTCH OVEN CHICKEN POT PIE large cans of chicken meat Chicken bouillion granules Tube of refrigerator crescent rolls or biscuits 6 oz. bag of frozen vegetables Salt and pepper - medium potatoes, chop into small cubes Vegetable oil / cup of flour (approx.) If desired: Chopped mushrooms, onions, other veggies Warm Dutch oven. Add chicken with juice to oven with a tablespoon of oil and several cups of water to cover. Add about tablespoon of bouillion and bring to boil. With wisk or fork, whip a couple tablespoons of flour into a cup of water to make a smooth think mixture. Briskly stir flour mixture into chicken broth to create a gravy, taking care not to break up chicken pieces. Bring back to boil, stirring gently until gravy starts to thicken slightly. Stir in frozen vegetables, potato cubes, other veggies and enough water that when mixed, gravy just touches top of ingredients. Sprinkle salt, pepper. Create a top crust with crescent roll dough (flat not rolled) or biscuit halves layered on top of ingredients. Put lid on Dutch oven, place oven on bed of -0 charcoals and put -5 more coals on lid. Bake about 0 minutes, then check crust. When crust is brown and flaky on top, lower top heat by removing most coals. Maintain bottom heat to keep pie bubbling, about 5 minutes total baking time until potatoes are tender. 5 CHUCKWAGON STEW lb of ground beef 6 oz. can of red beans (I use ranch style). med. Potatoes / tsp of salt / Tbsp of garlic powder / tsp of black pepper / cup of veg. oil med. onion (if you like) In dutch oven, add beans and set aside. Brown beef in iron skillet, drain and add garlic powder, onion, salt and pepper. Cook till beef is brown and onions are transparent, add to beans. In same skillet add oil and diced potatoes with skins on or off (I prefer on). Put on med heat to fry with lid on skillet. Fry about 0 minutes till soft, drain and add to beef mixture. Simmer on low heat 5 minutes and serve with corn on the cob or salad.

Lunch Choices Page 6 CREOLE TUNA SKILLET tb Margarine tb Flour med Onion - chopped ts Camping Seasoning Mix (See Recipe) / med Green Pepper - chopped cans Chunky Tuna / c Celery - chopped / c Kernel Corn Melt margarine in skillet and lightly fry onion, pepper and celery until tender crisp. Add flour and blend in. Add other ingredients and heat through. Serve with rice and grated Parmesan/Romano. 7 BLTs loaf of bread tomatoes head of lettuce packages of bacon or precook bacon Mayo Cook bacon, prep sandwiches DUTCH OVEN SHEPHERDS PIE lb. bacon, cut into inch slices cans corn (drained) - lbs ground beef cans green beans (drained) Mashed potatoes Grated cheese Cook bacon. Drain grease. Add ground beef and cook. While hamburger is cooking, prepare enough instant mashed potatoes to cover the top (or real mashed potatoes if you have the time/energy). When burger is completely cooked, add corn and green beans. Then add thick layer of mashed potatoes over the top. Cover with 0 coals on lid & lower heat on bottom so meat does not burn. Let oven cook for 0 minutes, then top potatoes with grated cheese & cover until cheese melts. Season to taste with salt/pepper. 9 GROG SOUP/Chef Boy ar Dee Large Pot Large Ladle Several different kinds of soup or Chef Boy ar Dee pasta Have each person bring a can of soup. I would advise not using fish. Some people are alergic to it. Mix all the different cans of soup in the large pot and place on the campfire till soup is heated. Soup will taste different every time, but is always good. Obviously, this works best for a group outing. 0 Hot Roast Beef Sandwich loaf of bread Package o Provolone cheese Small Mayo Head of Lettuce or bag of salad.5 lbs of deli roast beef or slices Spread Mayo on both sides of bread for one sandwich. Heat Skillet up, take two slices of roast beef folded and place in skillet with a slice cheese on top, add one slice of bread on top of the cheese. Once cheese is almost melted, put lettuce on the other half of the bread and take heated roast beef out of the skillet and add it to complete sandwich.

Put in hamburger and onion. Fry uncovered until hamburger is well browned, stirring often. Stir in tomatoes, water, and pasta. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to about 50 degrees, cover, and Simmer for 0 minutes or until pasta is tender. Sprinkle cheese on each bowl when it is served. Large Can of Chili Shredded Cheddar Cheese Corn Bread or Rolls Heat up Chili in a pot, serve with cheese on top and eat with corn bread or rolls. Chili Pocket Pizza Recipe 6 aluminum foil campfire coals long fire tongs pkg pita bread can spaghetti sauce cup grated cheese pkg sliced pepperoni optional: sliced black olives, pineapple chunks, diced peppers, Cut each pita in half and spoon spaghetti sauce into pocket spreading it evenly. Add cheese, pepperoni, and other toppings. NOTES: Wrap in foil and place in coals. Cook for a couple minutes, flip, and cook another two minutes. Use precooked meat since you are just heating it up. Mark your own foil with a special fold so you know its yours. Cowboy Stew Recipe lb. ground beef onion potatoes (all cans are about 5 oz.) can green beans can baked beans can black beans can tomato soup can corn can diced tomatoes tsp Chili powder tsp cayenne pepper bay leaf Salt and pepper Cut potatoes into inch cubes. Dice onion. Heat dutch oven to 50 degrees for Frying. Brown ground beef and onion. Add potatoes and all cans, undrained. Add spices (more or less if you like bland or spicy) Cook until potatoes are soft (about 5 minutes), stirring every 5 minutes. 5 Mountain Dew Chicken Recipe / lb. bacon gallon zip-loc bag with cup flour 5 chicken breasts 5 potatos 0 carrots large onion can Mountain Dew soda / cup shredded cheddar cheese Preheat dutch oven by setting on bed of coals. Chop bacon into -inch pieces, and dice the vegetables Cut chicken breasts in half lengthwise. Fry bacon in dutch oven until crispy. Remove bacon from d.o. but leave grease. Shake chicken breasts in baggie of flour to coat. Cook in bacon grease to brown, about 5 minutes, turning a couple times. Pour vegetables, bacon, and Mountain Dew on top of chicken. Cover with lid and cook at 50 for 5 minutes with / of coals on lid. Using tongs or fork, lift chicken breasts so they are resting on top of vegetables. Sprinkle cheese over the chicken.

Cut bacon into /" pieces. Fry in D.O. until crisp. Add onions, bell peppers, mushrooms and garlic. Cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients. Move half the heat to the top of the D.O. Cover and simmer 0-0 minutes stirring every 0 minutes..5 cups dry Minute Rice Boil quart of water. oz canned chicken Put rice in / gallon freezer zip-loc baggie. can Chinese vegetables Pour.5 cups boiling water into baggie. can bean sprouts Place baggie in water pot and let sit minutes. can Chinese noodles Add chicken, vegetables, and sprouts. soy sauce Mix well and let sit minutes in pot. Tbsp flour / tsp salt / tsp pepper lb. beef tenderloin garlic glove, minced / C butter / C onions, chopped / C water can chicken soup can kidney beans lb. ground lean meat medium potatoes, diced large green pepper, chopped large onion, chopped salt to taste c. water can tomatoes Serve on Chinese noodles for people with no pots to clean and your wash water for dishes already hot. Or, use extra hot water for cocoa or tea. Combine flour, salt, and pepper in gallon ziploc. Cut beef into / inch to inch cubes. Dump beef cubes into flour mixture and shake to coat. Heat butter in dutch oven or skillet over coals. Brown beef in butter, turning often. Add onion and garlic, sauteeing until golden. Add water and stir. Add soup and mushrooms. Cook over low heat about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. While cooking, prepare a pot of rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes. Stir sour cream into beef and heat, but do not boil. Serve beef stroganoff on noodles, rice, or potatoes with chives or dill sprinkled on top. In large pot, cook meat, onion and green pepper until meat starts to brown. Add beans, tomatoes, potatoes, salt and water. Cook over low heat until potatoes are tender. 0 HOBO BURGERS Head of cabbage Hamburger patties Cut-up potatoes Baby carrots Onions Whatever other ingredients you would like to add Season to your own tastes Also need aluminum foil Start with large squares of aluminum foil. Size depends on how many ingredients each camper wants in his/her Hobo burger. Line the center of the foil with some cabbage leaves. On top of cabbage leaves, add hamburger patty, potatoes, carrots, onions, etc., seasoning to individual tastes. On top of all this, lay a few more cabbage leaves (the cabbage leaves prevent the ingredients from burning in the foil). Seal foil around all and place directly in coals, cooking for 0-5 minutes per side. When done, the cooked cabbage can also be eaten along with all the rest of the goodies!

GRILLED MARINATED VEGGIES sliced yellow squash sliced zucchini sliced onion coarse-chopped red or green bell pepper oz sliced mushrooms Broccoli florets or chopped and peeled stems Italian or Fat Free Italian Slice veggies /" thick. Place in large sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Sprinkle on Italian dressing, toss to coat. Add salt and pepper and a pat of butter or a drop of olive oil if you want. Fold foil into a packet. Place over medium-hot coals or grill rack, turning occasionally. Good with marinated chicken or venison. I bag of Salad (store bought) Dressing of the groups choosing Store bought Bag of Salad fresh spinach (cut into small pieces) sliced strawberries or canned mandarin oranges (drained) Dressing: ¼ cup vinegar ¼ tsp. Worcestershire Sauce ¼ cup sugar ¼ tsp. paprika Make dressing and add just before serving. Toss gently to coat. Dressing should be made prior to camp out to save prep time or you can buy a bottle of dressing 5 Spinach Salad tbsp. sesame seeds ½ cup vegetable or olive oil ½ tsp. chopped onion
