Running a Fundraising Wine Tasting Event You can run a Wine Tasting Event instead of, or as part of, a Fundraising Wine Drive. A Wine Tasting is a fun and affordable to taste wines and collect wine orders to raise funds for your not-for-profit. You can purchase 1 or more mixed dozens for your Wine Tasting. A Fundraiser event could be the perfect time for Fundraising Wine such as a school fete, annual meeting, awards night, trivia night, sports clubs social event, Wine & Cheese night, or just work drinks. Take advantage of the numbers of people attending that event. All of these and more can become a Wine Fundraiser Event. As we do for a Wine Drive, we provide you with an Order Form with wine tasting notes, pricing, and payment details. When you purchase Tasting Wines, the cost* does not include your profit margin, to keep the costs as low as possible. You can even order Tasting wines with our generic labels, for a cheaper option. A gold coin collection at the door can help recoup some or all of the cost of a Wine Tasting event. *Surcharges may apply for all regional WA and NT, and some regional locations in QLD, NSW, SA, and TAS. No surcharges for regional VIC. Surcharges depend on quantity and location. How much wine to order? This will depend on how many people are attending, and how large or generous a serve you pour. We suggest 2-3 bottles of each wine for 50 people. See our webpage Fundraiser Event for more details: http://fundraisingwine.com.au/fundraiser-event/#how-much-wine/ If you have wine left over from the event, these can go towards Wine Drive orders. Want to run a Fundraising Wine Tasting Event? See our webpage Fundraiser Event for more details: http://fundraisingwine.com.au/fundraiser-event/ Use the Wine Drive Checklist on page 5 Steps 1 to 4. As well as sending us this information and label files and requirement, please also email us: 1. Number of bottles required (see How much wine... above and our webpage Fundraiser Event for more details: http://fundraisingwine.com.au/fundraiser-event/#how-much-wine 2. Delivery address, and delivery instructions (where wine can be safely left if no-one home, or if you prefer a Calling Card to be left so you can call Courier to arrange a suitable time) 3. Your Wine Label preference for Tasting Event wines: Label Option 1: Get Tasting Wines only with our generic wine labels. $10 per dozen less than Option 2 below. Please note, final wine orders are delivered with your own fundraiser label. Label Option 2: Your own Fundraiser labels: see Steps 8-9 of Drive Checklist on page 5, and label samples on page 6. If you want your own Fundraiser labels for Tasting Event wines, we will email you a label proof for your approval within 3-5 business days, depending on our workload. We send you an invoice for your Tasting Event wine. You can pay by VISA, MasterCard or Bank Transfer for faster turnaround, or Cheque or Money Order (slower turnaround). Once payment is received and cleared, and label approved if applicable, we label and despatch your wine. Delivery takes 2-10 working days, depending on your location (we re in Melbourne, so Melbourne fastest, regional WA and NT slowest). Make copies of the Order Form for your Tasting Event. You can also collect orders for a set period before and/or after your Tasting Event up to 1 month after the Tasting Event. The more wine you sell, the greater the profit for your fundraiser. Minimum order requirement: 6 dozen in total. Once you have collected all Forms, see Step 8 onwards about sending Forms and payments and the rest of the process.
