BUSINESS TRADING TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE PRICES (a) The prices as shown in the sellers price list are subject to alteration without notice and may be varied by the seller without notice to the buyer at any time prior to the order being received. (b) Supply is subject to sufficient stock being available for sale at the time of ordering. (c) Any retail price set out or referred to herein is a recommended price only and there is no obligation to comply with the recommendation. RETENTION OF TITLE CLAUSE (a) Risk in the goods shall pass to the Purchaser at the date of delivery and the Purchaser will ensure all goods that are at his risk. (b) Not withstanding that the risk shall pass to the Purchaser as herein provided, title to the goods shall remain the absolute property of the Company until the whole of the moneys due under this agreement are paid in full. The Company (and its agents duly authorised in writing) shall at all times and without notice be entitled to enter any premises believed to be occupied by the Purchaser without any liability for trespass and recover therefrom the goods the subject of this agreement, and any goods created pursuant to the use of the goods, but only if there is an existing default in the terms of payment for such goods. (c) The sale by the Purchaser of any of the goods prior to payment in full of the moneys due thereon shall be made by the Purchaser as the Company s agent and the Purchaser shall forthwith account to the Company for the proceeds of sale to the extent to which such proceeds are necessary to satisfy moneys due. (d) Where goods sold hereunder are used in the manufacture of new objects or otherwise mixed, then title of the object in question shall automatically pass to the Company as surety for full payment of the moneys due. TERMS OF PAYMENT Unless otherwise agreed by both parties the terms of payment shall be by the end of the month following the month of Invoice Date. Action will be taken to recover overdue accounts including legal fees. The Company reserves the right to refuse supply until outstanding accounts have been paid. RETURN OF GOODS Goods will not be accepted for return AFTER 30 DAYS from the date of delivery. (a) Orders placed by the Buyer may only be cancelled with the Sellers written permission. (b) Return of goods can only be made upon the prior agreement from Fairbanks Seeds. FREIGHT All orders will be charged freight and handling costs. LIMIT OF LIABILITY We warrant to the extent of the purchase price that seeds and plants sold are as described on the container within recognised tolerances. We give no other or further warranty expressed or implied. If this condition of sale is not acceptable the buyer should immediately return the goods unopened. Any liability incurred by the Seller to the Buyer, to the extent legally permissible is to be limited to the replacement of the goods or a refund of the price paid by the Buyer.

Basil AROMA F 1 A hybrid Genovese type, leaves are dark green, mid sized and aromatic. IR: some races of Fusarium. GENOVA LARGE LEAF Genovese type with large, dark green leaves with a slightly savoyed texture. The best seller for Fairbanks, due to its flavour and beautiful aroma. GREEK An interesting basil with a ball shaped habit when mature. The plant has smaller leaves than standard basil, is generally lighter in colour and has more of an aniseed flavour. SIAM QUEEN A large leaved Asian type basil with aniseed flavour and a dark purple stem. Dark leaf colour with medium vigour. THAI Asian type basil with a strong aniseed flavour and a dark purple stem. Leaves are more pointed than Western type basils, with a lighter leaf colour and purple flowers borne on a longer spike. Popular in Asian cooking. PURPLE FIRE (NEW) A premium purple leaf basil with excellent uniformity. Perfect for pot production and micro herbs. Excellent uniformity at the micro leaf stage with deep purple coloured cotyledons and nice glossy true leaves.

Coriander SANTO Fairbanks market-leading strain of slow bolting coriander. Santo can be grown year round in most areas. It is indexed free of Coriander Leaf Blight, to ensure the best possible seed quality. This is also available in mono-germ form. SANTORINI Extremely slow bolting coriander, vibrant green colour, excellent vigour. Santorini has a lower growing point than most other varieties, which makes it slower bolting. Not as upright in growth habit as Santo. CARROT TOP Specialist coriander, well suited to micro green production. Leaves are much finer than standard coriander and the flavour is not as strong. Parsley LIMERICK Triple curled variety, excellent dark green colour, uniform leaf texture, colour and flavour. Due to consistent seed quality and availability, Limerick has become the standard triple curled variety for parsley growers. MIDORI Italian Giant type parsley. Large deep green leaves on a strong plant. Excellent seed quality from a dedicated European parsley breeder.

Parsley SHAMROCK Italian flat leaf type with dark medium sized leaves and high bolting tolerance. VERDANT Italian Giant type parsley, now recognised as the market standard for green flat leaf parsley. Medium to large sized leaves, vigorous plant with excellent fragrance. Herbs CURLED CHERVIL Curled Chervil produces fragrant, small leaves on a stemmed plant. Chervil is not unlike parsley at first appearance, but with sweeter and smaller leaves. Anthriscus cerefolium. (400-550 s/gm) CHIVES - MEDIUM Commonly called onion chives, this variety produces dark green cylindrical stems, approximately 20cm tall. Onion chives can be grown as a perennial, as they die off in winter and shoot again in spring. Allium schoenoprasum. (800-900 s/gm) CORN SALAD - MACHE French vegetable, grown for baby leaf or micro greens. Spinach-like growth habit, with a delicate and nuttier flavour than spinach. Mache continues to thrive through cold temperatures. Valerianella locusta (400-450s/gm)

Herbs DILL - BOUQUET Bouquet is the market standard dill, renowned for excellent seed quality. The attractive, dark green plant produces delicate looking leaves, borne on long stems. Anethum graveolens. (800-850 s/gm) CRESS - CURLED Dark green plant, borne on single stems. Curled cress has a spicy flavour and is used in salads, usually eaten raw. Lepidium sativum. (500-600 s/gm) CRESS - OLYMPUS A slower growing cress with compact habit and a hot peppery flavour. Much more uniform and slower bolting than standard cress. Lepidium sativum. (500-600 s/gm) WATERCRESS - TRUE WATER Perennial herb with large rounded leaves. Traditionally grown in hydroponics, watercress prefers a high soil moisture content for best growth. Nasturtium officinale. (4500-6000 s/gm) MARJORAM - SWEET Cold sensitive herb that can be grown as a perennial in warmer areas. The plant grows to about 30cm tall and bears small, fragrant dark green leaves. Origanum majorana. (1200-1500 s/gm). MEXICAN TARAGON Perennial herb that grows to approximately 50cm-60cm tall. Less pungent than Russian Tarragon. Tagetes lucida. (500-700 s/gm)

Herbs SAGE Very attractive herb with silvery green leaves. Upright, high yielding plant that can be grown as a perennial in mild areas. Salvia officinalis. (120-130 s/gm) RED VEINED SORREL Red veined variety with bright green leaves. Refreshing, citrus sour taste. Leaves have a slight savoy texture and are very attractive as a garnish. Rumex sangvineus (1200-1500 s/gm) THYME - WINTER Woody, branching perennial herb that dies back in autumn but shoots again in spring. Thymus vulgaris. (5000-6000 s/gm) OREGANO Distinctive small green shrub which is grown as a perennial in most regions. After flowering, the plant can be cut right back to the base and it will shoot again. Origanum vulgare. (800-1000 s/gm). Endive SKI Salad King type endive. Produces curled leaves with very attractive frilly margins. The flavour of endive is slightly bitter and it is used in fresh salads.

Spring Onions GRANDSTAND Winter harvest spring onion, which as the name suggests, is relatively upright in growth habit. Grandstand has good vigour and bright green cylindrical leaves. JAVELIN Tall, early and very uniform spring onion which can be grown all year round, but has consistently performed well in warmer harvest seasons. Javelin is the summer standard in many regions. Leek VERTINA Vertina is an early to mid season leek variety. It has a long, straight shank, medium to dark green leaves and is non bulbous. Silverbeet SILVERTON Compact, one cut silverbeet for sleeve market. Uniform dark green blistered foliage with white stems. Plant height approx. 35-40cm. Not recommended for growing in regions with severe frosts.

Kale MIDNIGHT MAGIC Midnight Magic is a Tuscan kale (also known as black cabbage) which has been specifically bred for the premium bunching and baby leaf market. It has vibrant dark green leaves with a long slender shape and heavy savoy texture. TOSCANO BLACK Toscano Black is a Mediterranean or Tuscan kale, with heavily savoyed, dark green leaves, with a long and slender shape. Toscano is most commonly harvested for baby leaf, but can also be grown to a bunching stage. WINNETOU F 1 (NEW) Winnetou is a new hybrid borecole (curly) kale. Dark blue-green, high quality, thick leaves with a very curly shape. Very good standing ability and winter hardiness. RED RUSSIAN Attractive, frilly edged green kale with a vibrant red stem. The plant can grow relatively large if left to develop, but it is usually harvested small and cut for baby leaf. Prized for high anti-oxidant levels. Asian Vegetables KAILAAN Standard Chinese Kale. Kailaan produces tasty, deep green leaves and is normally harvested in autumn and early winter.

Asian Vegetables TSOI SIM An Asian green mustard suited for spring and summer sowing for bunching with edible flowers and stalks. JOI CHOI F 1 Slow bolting, early maturing white stem pak choi. Also known as Bok Choi. MIYAKO F 1 An outstanding hybrid green stem pak choi for bunching. Miyako is early to mature, compact and suitable for all seasons. Miyako is renowned for its fantastic dark green colour and uniformity. It has good tolerance to bolting and to some Australian races of Club Root. Market leading variety for all segments. CGR3342 (NEW) (TRIAL) A new bright white stem mini bok choi with dark green leaves. It has a very attractive upright shape and looks its best at about 14cm. This compact size is much more user-friendly than the traditional large size. Slow bolting in all trials to date. CGR5406 (NEW) (TRIAL) A new mini green stem pak choi for trialling in the bunching market. This variety develops its shape at a very early stage giving excellent harvest flexibility.

Radish Daikon APRIL CROSS F 1 Market standard all-white Japanese style daikon radish. Proven to be a reliable variety with a uniform, long, slender and tapered shape. April Cross is best suited for autumn and winter harvest. Approx. 38cm x 8cm root. BUSAN No. 2 F 1 The market standard for green shouldered Korean style daikon radish. It has a slow bolting habit with high vigour and excellent uniformity. Strong tops allow for easy harvest. Busan No. 2 has a high yield potential and roots are approx. 20 x 8cm. GEISHA GIRL No. 2 F 1 A replacement to the original Geisha Girl variety. Geisha Girl No. 2 is extra slow bolting and produces a long, tapered, very white smooth root with a light green shoulder. It has excellent vigour, is very uniform, has dark green tops and can be grown year round. Approx. 32 x 8cm. RELISH CROSS F 1 Relish Cross is a very refined variety that is popular in the Japanese market. It is slower growing and produces uniform, long, conical and tapered roots with a mid green shoulder. Relish Cross is not a bolt tolerant variety. Roots are approx. 38cm x 8cm. UNICORN F 1 Market standard light green shouldered variety with extra slow bolting habit. Best suited to winter and spring harvest with excellent vigour, but can be sown 12 months of the year. Cylindrical, smooth and very uniform roots, with attractive tapered finish. Strong tops enable easy harvest. Approx. 32 x 7cm roots. MINOWASE No.3 F 1 An all white Japanese style daikon radish with strong heat tolerance. Approx. 40cm x 6.5cm. IR: Fusarium.

Fennel TITANIC FLORENCE Titanic fennel is a relatively large open pollinated type, grown as an annual. Seeds are usually sown in spring and the fleshy bulb, with an aniseed flavour, is harvested in autumn and winter. Radish RADIO Uniform red globe variety with vigorous, pale green leaves. Best grown in the cooler seasons, for the bunching market. PRIMEX F 1 Primex is a round, red hybrid radish. It produces high quality, extremely uniform bright red roots with dark green leaves. Primex is adaptable to most seasons. SANGRIA F 1 Sangria is a round, red hybrid radish. It produces rich, red, round roots with a firm interior. Sangria is suited to warm conditions.

Asparagus UC 157 F 1 The market leading hybrid asparagus variety, widely used in the main production areas of Southern Australia. Produces uniform deep green spears, with high yield potential. Turnip & Swede CUEBALL F 1 Extremely uniform, round, baby white hybrid turnip with vibrant green tops. Very popular in the bunching market. JUPITER F 1 A hybrid turnip, Purple Top White Globe type. Jupiter has excellent vigour and uniformity. It is slower bolting in the warmer months and more vigorous through the cooler months. A truly professional option for the fresh and bunching market. PURPLE TOP WHITE GLOBE Standard open pollinated turnip. PTWG has a white root, bright purple top, flat globe shape. Can grow all year round, but in cold areas, Jupiter F 1 is a much better option. LAURENTIAN Buff yellow swede variety with a purple top and creamy yellow flesh. Firm and crisp, usually sown in spring and summer for an autumn to early winter harvest.

Carrot MOKUM F 1 The market leading hybrid bunching carrot variety from Bejo Seeds. It has excellent flavour, smooth roots and is a very reliable variety. Beetroot ORBIT F 1 Orbit is a mid-maturing hybrid red beetroot from South Pacific Seeds. This variety has strong upright tops and is well suited to bunching. The globe shaped roots have a fine tail and very good uniformity. PABLO F 1 A smooth round hybrid beetroot from Bejo Seeds. Pablo is a mid-maturing variety with intense colour and is well suited to fresh market and processing. ACTION F 1 A smooth round deeply coloured hybrid beetroot from Bejo Seeds. A longer maturing variety suited to fresh market, processing and storage. TOUCHSTONE GOLD A deep orange coloured beetroot with a golden yellow interior. Touchstone Gold not only looks striking, but it is very sweet as well.
