For the last 26 years we have provided a cozy atmosphere and enjoyable food, delivered with a warm smile. Just outside the door there is a new viewing platform where you can watch the trains from the Union Pacific Railroad pass by. Guests get excited when they hear the rumble of the engine going by and see the children s eyes light up when they get to see the train so close up. It was this excitement that lent to the idea of putting a train inside the restaurant. In the past few years the café has built its own railway with a train that travels around the café visiting everyone as they enjoy their visit with us. Many of our guests like that a lot of our food is prepared the old fashioned way, like biscuits from scratch, as well as items like chicken fried steak and meatloaf. It truly is a place where everyone knows your name. In this time where corporations are continually moving into our area, it is nice to have a family owned café that offers greetings with a smile, thanks you when you leave and appreciates you.
