Additionally, for all metal items that will touch food, they must be brought to the Thursday evening prep night in order for the kosher supervisor to dip them in the ritual bath; these items will only be returned to the teams and available for use on Saturday. All serving containers for competition and tastings provided by competition. The Atlanta Kosher BBQ Festival will do our best to provide the items on this page in our "Community Pantry" for all teams to utilize in your cooking. In order to avoid waste, and therefore raise the most amount of money for the charities which we support, the quantities supplied will be based upon expected use by teams. If teams would like to bring additional food items, please insure that they have an acceptable Kosher hecksher and bring them to the competition kosher supervisor prior to using the item; feel free to submit a request prior to the event if you are unsure of its eligibility. All outside food items must be new and sealed. For a list of accepted Kosher heckshers, please check out:

10 TEAM DEPOSIT REFUND FORM Team Clean -Up Deposits (value $100) will be returned to each Team Pit Boss at the Atlanta Kosher BBQ Event. In order to receive team deposit, the entire below form must be completed with approved stamps for all. BBQ Facility Team will inspect and provide approval stamp for each category. Once form is completed, bring to BBQ Finance Booth (located at entrance) for deposit. Important Note: Deposit refunds will ONLY be distributed between 2:30PM and 5:00PM on Sunday, Oct 22nd. TEAM NAME BOOTH # Booth Break Down Teams may begin packing up individual equipment starting at 2:00PM. No vehicles may be brought to booth locations until after awards ceremony. Smoker Returned Hot ashes dumped in designated metal barrels Smokers returned to designated area Additional Grill Items Returned Lids Charcoal holders Charcoal Chimneys Grill grates Ash pans Team Equipment & Utensils Returned 12 slicing knife 7 boning knife large pot ladle measuring cups measure spoons utensils mixing bowl tongs slotted spoon small pot team plastic crate Booth Location Inspection Once all above items have been returned to designated area, teams can request booth location inspection from BBQ Facility Team for sign-off of booth cleanliness. All trash removed from booth location and deposited in dumpster (not central cans/boxes.) Tables and chairs wiped clean All team equipment packed and ready to leave X. BBQ Facility Team Approval Additional Items To Return: Unopened food items/products Unused wood chunks Unused cutting boards U nused gloves, Z iplocks and Tupperware U nused trash bags and paper goods Collected Tickets Submitted Turn - in all tasting tickets to the Judge Coordinator no later than 1:45 PM at the Judges Tent. Failure to submit tickets will result in zero entry in People s Choice Award.
