The perfect accompaniment to any celebration Unwound Sparkling Reflections Our 2016 Sparkling Reflections was made with Shiraz grapes taken off the skins immediately after crushing. Picked early in the vintage retaining bright luscious floral characters. Vibrant acidity with bubbles for fun!! WHITE WINES & ROSE Bottle Glass 2017 Viognier A must try for all our visitors to the estate. With intense apricot on the palate and a fun fruity, but dry finish. A perfect wine to share with friends on any occasion Unwound Verdelho Classically vibrant Queensland Verdelho driven by a tropical and elderberry bouquet. The bright acidity carries the fruit across the palate to complete the experience Wild Fermented Chardonnay Intense aromatics from the wild yeast used for fermentation of this wine have created beautifully rounded floral characters with distinctive tones of pink lady apples on the palate. This is perfectly integrated with subtle vanilla flavours from a short time in French Oak. SHERRY 2012 OV Fino 30 8 The first vintage of this Spanish style is a crisp, extra dry sherry with floral nutty characters and a fresh lingering finish. Best served chilled Unwound Merlot A sumptuous Merlot brimming with juicy fruits and subtle chalky tannins 2015 Unwound Shiraz Premium ripe fruit sourced from the Granite Belt has created a rich jammy Shiraz finishing with lingering vanilla spices. One will never be enough! 2012 OV Cabernet 36 9 A Vibrant plump cabernet with distinct mulberry characters on the nose and palate balanced with soft tannins and an elegant integration of American and French Oak Ruby Cabernet A medium bodied Cabernet displaying soft blueberry fruit characters, sweet spice with soft chalky tannins. FORTIFIED & DESSERT WINES 2016 Luscious Harvest 34 9 An aged Viognier and Chardonnay blend, both sweet and floral with hints of apricot and pear. A truly luscious late harvest wine! 2012 OV Gold 34 9 A blend of very ripe Chardonnay and Viognier grapes has produced delicate notes of caramelised citrus that glide smoothly across the palate with a lingering warm glow Vintage Ruby 34 9 Our vintage port has been bottle aged to retain the rich fruitiness of the cabernet grapes. A perfect luscious and fruity finish Grand Tawny Port We don t want to share but we must! Our first release 10yr old Grand Tawny has been carefully tended to by Thomas our winemaker and sampled regularly until it has now reached perfection with rich raisin characters and a luscious finish. My Bouquet Hibiscus Saison 4.2% ABV 8 A beautifully delicate gluten free beer with rose and 100% Australian hibiscus flowers (rosella) added into the ferment, giving it a deep pink colour, pale pink head and a refreshing floral tartness. Made with sorghum rather than barley malt My Bouquet is totally gluten free and a good choice for people with coeliac disease, gluten intolerance or those who prefer to avoid the beer belly. Ladies, even if you aren t usually a beer drinker I urge you to give this one a go it was made with you in mind! I hope you love it as much as I do. She s Gone Pale Ale 4.5% ABV 8 Who doesn t like a pale ale? In a way, a good fruity pale ale has been the flagship for craft brewing in Australia and a go-to for many beer lovers. To keep things interesting and unique to Ocean View Estates I have attempted to create a balanced and rounded flavour profile by dry hopping only with a combination of 5 different aromatic hop varieties from around the world. It is citrusy, a little floral and not too bitter. It took a while to get it right but I am (finally) super happy with the recipe. Ginger Junkie 4.5% ABV 8 For all you Ginger Junkies, this is a punch-in-the-face, full-on ginger hit. Not too sweet and made with tons of fresh ginger. Warm, yet surprisingly refreshing with a hint of acidity and lightly hopped for depth of flavour. Wattle We Do 4.9% ABV 8 A Nut-Brown Scottish Ale fermented with roasted wattle seeds. Slow fermentation at cold temperatures has produced a clean-tasting ale with a full mouth-feel. Malt-driven with minimal hop aromas or bitterness and a lingering hazelnut flavour from the wattle seed. French Kiss 5% ABV 8 Yum, Yum, Yum!! This is my version of a smooth, rich, delicious, decadent, slow, romantic kiss with a...wait, we are talking about the beer, sorry I got distracted...where was I? Oh yes, it s a chocolate porter. To compliment the smooth chocolate, the beer has been fermented with French oak resulting in delicate vanilla flavours. This is one to sip slowly and savour.
