3 Foreword Gin71 was founded in May 2014 by a team dedicated to great quality spirits and excellent customer service. Through our passion and dedication, we have created bars which aim to celebrate all aspects of gin. Our bartending team work tirelessly to keep our sophisticated cocktail list up to date, curating a selection of incredible drinks from our wonderfully creative bar team. These drinks are all created using the best spirits, liqueurs and vermouths from all over the world to ensure the very best flavour. While our focus has largely been on gin with its versatility and rich history in cocktail making, there are also plenty of other creative concoctions in here. Read on and discover a menu which features many of own own creations as well as some timeless classics. Can't see one of your favourites? 4 CLASSIC COCKTAILS TREACLE El Dorado Rum / Apple Juice / Sugar Syrup / Bitters A twist on an Old Fashioned with El Dorado Rum for caramel notes and apple juice to add a fruity edge. Created in London by Dick Bradsell, the genius behind the Bramble. 8.5 TENNESSEE JULEP 9.0 Evan Williams Bourbon / Crème de Peche / Mint / Rose Water / Bitters A quintessential cocktail of the American Deep South. A fruity and refreshing approach to whisky that will make you fall in love with bourbon! AVIATION Aviation Gin / Maraschino Liqueur / Liqueur de Violette / Lemon First created at the turn of the 20th Century in New York, it has only just started to make a comeback. Here we follow the original recipe dating back to the Jazz Age! 8.0 BRAMBLE 8.0 Brockmans Gin / Lemon Juice / Apple Juice / Créme de Mure Invented in London in the 80 s, the Bramble has continued to grow in popularity. Brockmans gin adds an extra fruity edge to this light and refreshing cocktail. THE MARTINEZ Arbikie Kirsty s Gin / Cocchi Di Torino / Maraschino Liqueur / Bitters Sometimes considered the ancestor of the Martini, this cocktail offers a more complex and softer approach to drinking gin. 8.5

5 8.0 CHARLIE CHAPLIN Sloe Gin / Apricot Brandy / Lime Originally served at The Waldorf-Astoria in New York in the 1920s, this sweet cocktail was named after the famous silent film character at the height of his career. 8.0 GINLINI Enjoy a fruity and indulgent cocktail of gin liqueur topped up with premium prosecco. 6 GIN71 FAVOURITES EL DIABLO 71 Arette Tequila / Kappa Pisco / Crème de Cassis / Ginger Beer Our take on the El Diablo cocktail, the blackcurrant liqueur takes some of the bite out of the ginger beer. The spice of the tequila and pisco makes for a fiery cocktail! 9.0 FRENCH 71 Arbikie Kirsty s Gin / Strawberry Syrup / Lemon / Veuve Clicquot Champagne A Gin71 special - a refreshing and fruity take on the 20th century classic, the French 75. Made with smooth Scottish gin from Lunan Bay and topped with premium champagne 11.5 THE EARL S LAST WORD Arbikie Kirsty s Gin / St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur / Cointreau / Lemon / Rhubarb Bitters / Strawberry & Gorgeous Grey Jam Gin71 s twist on a classic; Green Chartreuse is replaced with Elderflower Liqueur, and sweet Maraschino is swapped for zesty Cointreau. 9.0 THE REMEDY Dà Mhìle Seaweed Gin / Falernum / Yellow Chartreuse / Lime Aptly named The Remedy, this sharp and herbaceous cocktail is perfect for curing your previous nights ailments and perhaps even more! 9.5 CONQUISTADOR Colombian Treasure Gin / St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur / Basil / Lime Something for those Mojito fans, this refreshing cocktail uses Dictador Rum Barrel-Aged Gin and basil instead of mint. A real Gin71 customer & staff favourite. 9.5

7 MODERN ERA 8.0 RHUBARB COLLINS Edinburgh Rhubarb & Ginger Gin Liqueur / Lemon / Soda A fruity take on the quintessential gin cocktail, the Tom Collins. This version uses Edinburgh Rhubarb & Ginger Gin Liqueur for the perfect combination of sweet and spice! 10.0 FASHIONABLE PX Elijah Craig 12 Bourbon / PX Sherry / Orange Bitters / Orinoco Bitters Pedro Ximénez Sherry replaces the sugar in an Old Fashioned and adds caramel notes to this well known cocktail. Something a bit different for the bourbon fans amongst you! 9.0 HOLY SMOKE Monkey Shoulder Whisky / Martell Cognac / Sugar Syrup / Orange Bitters / Peychaud s Bitters / Laphroaig Spritz Gin71 s new take on a Sazerac, replacing the traditional American Bourbon for the smoky flavours of Scotch Whisky. 8.5 THE LADY OF THE LAKE Fifty Pounds Gin / Cointreau / Lime / Sugar Syrup / Rhubarb Bitters / Orinoco Bitters A refreshing balance of sweet citrus and herbal flavours, this delicious tipple is fit for Knights and Ladies of the Round Table. 9.0 THE NECROMANCER JJ Whitley London Dry Gin / St Germain Elderflower / Rinquinquin / Lemon / Sugar Syrup / Absinthe Bitters This twist on the classic Corpse Reviver #2 cocktail uses Rinquinquin and St Germain in place of Lillet Blanc and Cointreau.

8 MARTINIS HOW TO ORDER A MARTINI 1 2 CHOOSE ANY GIN DRY OR WET? DRY - Just a dash of dry vermouth. WET - Stirred with more dry vermouth. 3 CHOOSE A STYLE CLASSIC - Vermouth & Gin stirred over ice, served with a citrus peel or an olive. GIBSON - Savoury Vermouth & Gin garnished with a pickled onion. VESPER - Vermouth, Vodka and Gin garnished with a lemon peel or olive. GIN71 SPECIALS Looking for something new? Try one of our creations... A HARD PLACE 9.5 Inverroche Verdant Gin / Cocchi Americano / Plum Bitters This martini showcases the Fynbos botanicals from the Cape Floral Kingdom used in Inverroche Verdant Gin. Floral, earthy flavours are at the forefront of this martini. ROSE GARDEN Hendrick s Gin / St Germain Elderflower / Rose Water / Cucumber This delicious Martini was created to encapsulate Hendrick s gin. Expect a summery Martini that is both approachable and refreshing. 8.5 CHICAGO SMOKE Koval Gin / Dolin Bianco / Gingernut Liqueur / Whisky Barrel Bitters / Orange Bitters / Laphroaig Spritz A smoky martini using Koval from Chicago s first distillery since Prohibition. They also distil whiskies, so we combined the two! 9.5

9 NEGRONI HOW TO ORDER A NEGRONI CHOOSE A GIN Strong flavour and high ABV works best. VERMOUTH Sweet vermouth balances with the bitter notes of the other ingredients. CAMPARI This creates the signature flavour of the negroni. This drink uses one of our favourites; Brockman s gin with peach vermouth for a fantastically sweet flavour. 9.5 LEONA S NEGRONI Audemus Pink Pepper Gin / Dolin Bianco / Aperol / Rhubarb Bitters The sweet spice that we love from Audemus Pink Pepper Gin is put wonderfully on display in this drink when paired with the sweet, tart taste of rhubarb bitters.

Australia 13% abv ROSÉ Wicked Lady White Zinfandel Medium-sweet rosé with a salmon pink colour from contact with the grape skin. Shows red fruits on the rich, juicy palate USA 10% abv RED Tekena Merlot A fruit-driven Merlot with fresh raspberry and blueberry fruit which leads to a delightfully soft finish Chile 13% abv Marqués De Morano Rioja A blend of Tempranillo, Mazuelo and Graciano grapes. Aged in oak for two years.
