3 99 BEECH ROAD The sandstone façade of 99 Beech Road has stood proudly at the heart of the Chorlton community since It s been a local institution ever since. Initially a police station, then council offices, The Lead Station opened in 1995 and has served the local community and beyond ever since. But great institutions move with the times. After more than twenty years of hard graft and over a million and a half diners welcomed through the famous double doors, it was time The Lead Station evolved and grew up. So, on the 3 rd of October 2016, its doors closed for a well-earned makeover. The following two weeks and five days were a blur. Everything was upgraded, yet as the dust settled and bold colors appeared, a new but familiar space came into form. Our new drinks menu is reflective of the change - smarter, grown-up, more contemporary, definitely cooler and just possibly, showing some maturity. Enjoy your drinks.
