4 Should You Prefer to Upgrade to our Tier Two Options Choose Three of the Following The Hess Collection vineyards represent the diverse growing conditions seen in the Napa Valley Instituted a number of environmentally friendly initiatives that keep them at the forefront of sustainable vineyard practices Cabernet Sauvignon The Hess Select Cabernet Sauvignon has notable richness, intensity and varietal character, showing jammy dark fruit aromas with cedary barrel notes and a touch of spice. A soft entry, with ripe plum and raspberry in the forefront, is supported by background flavors of tobacco and caramel, which add complexity to this imminently drinkable wine. Chardonnay Monterey s cooling fog and coastal breezes create an ideal climate for growing Chardonnay, yielding wines with tantalizing tropical notes and crisp acidity. The core of this wine comes from our 352 acre Shirtail Creek estate vineyard in Monterey s coastal valley. Pinot Noir This elegant medium bodied wine offers aromas of cherry and spice. On the palate the wine give flavors of berries, cinnamon, black cherry, sweet vanilla oak and floral notes, with a long velvety finish. Willamette Valley Oregon s Willamette Valley, situated on the west side of the Cascade Mountains, is on the same latitude as France s Burgundy region. Its mild, wet climate combined with coastal marine influences and volcanic soils provide the ideal conditions for cool climate grapes such as Pinot Noir. Over the years, Oregon s Willamette Valley as developed the reputation as the New World equivalent to France s legendary Burgundy region. In addition, we wanted a name that suggested that our wines are blended from many sources. Even now as we more and more are sourcing grapes as well as wine, we still build our blends to craft balanced wines that aim to be the essence of Oregon rather than reflect a specific single vineyard or A to Z style. Pinot Gris bright aromas of tropical fruits with flavors of peach, pear and spiced apple with a nice clean balanced finish. Pinot Noir Elegant and complex aromas of bing cherries, cranberries, red currants, raspberries and strawberries with darker fruit flavors on the palate and a finish with ripe tannins and a balanced texture.
