Apple Cinnamon Smoothie 2 handfuls of kale 1 apple (Granny Smith) 1 cup of blueberries (frozen) 1 teaspoon of cinnamon 1 cup of almond milk consistency. Chia Pudding 1 can of coconut milk ½ cup of coconut water 1 tablespoon of vanilla 1 tablespoon of cinnamon Pinch of salt ¼ cup of chia seeds Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend. Leave sit for 5 minutes before serving.

4 EXTRA BREAKFAST IDEAS Lemon and lime shake 1 avocado Juice of 1 lime Juice of 1 lemon Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor Kick me up Smoothie Half an avocado 1cm of fresh Ginger 1 Green apple 1 inch of cucumber Consistency. Raspberry Pear Smoothie 2 pears 1 handful of raspberries 4-5 leaves of kale 2 cups of coconut water consistency Minty Avocado Smoothie 1 avocado (ripe) Juice of 1 lime 1 handful of fresh mint consistency.

5 Apple Chia Smoothie 1 cup Chia gel (1 Tablespoon of Chia seeds soaked in 1 cup of water for 1 hour) 3 small Apples ½ medium Lemon (juiced) 5 leaves Kale 1 sprig Mint (optional) 2 cups Coconut water consistency Un- beet- able breakfast juice 1 Apple 1 Beet 3 Carrots One small piece of peeled, fresh Ginger root 3 cups of leafy greens Serves as a base to which you can add any of the above- mentioned ingredients. Simply chop up and throw in the blender! Serve immediately so the nutrient content doesn t diminish. Any combination of leafy green vegetables and non - acid forming fruit can serve as a suitable pick me up in the morning. There are hundreds of recipes online so get creative! There ll be times when you feel like something more substantial then juice, so there are a few more super fast, super healthy breakfast solutions you can try. Remember you can mix and match any of the recipes on the plan (even if it s leftovers from an alkaline evening meal!) as long as you stick to the 80/20 rule. Quinoa and Apple breakfast Warmer Half a cup of Quinoa 1 Apple Half a Lemon Cinnamon Cook the quinoa according to the instructions on the packet. Just before you re ready to take it out of the water, add some grated apple and a squeeze of lemon juice to taste. Serve in bowls with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Quinoa is very

6 versatile, try it topped with avocado tomato slices and cracked black pepper for a delicious savoury alternative. Seed Pancakes with Whipped Topping To make seed flour: ¼ cup of raw pumpkin seeds ¼ cup of raw sunflower seeds ¼ cup of raw sesame seeds ½ cup of raw flaxseeds Pancake mix: 1 cup of seed flour mix 1 cup of millet or spelt flour or a combination 1 ½ tsp. Of baking soda A pinch of Celtic salt Almond milk Olive oil Whipped topping: ½ carton of silken tofu 1/3 cup of coconut milk ½ tsp. vanilla 1/8 tsp. coconut nectar 1 tbs. of lemon juice For flour mix: measure out seeds and mix together in a coffee grinder, grind seeds into flour in 1/3 cup batches. Measure 1 cup for seed pancakes. For pancake mix: mix dry ingredients until just blended. Add just enough almond milk to achieve thin batter. Heat skillet, oil pan and pour thin layer of batter. Flip pancakes when bubbles rise. Serve with whipped topping. For whipped topping: blend all ingredients in food processor or until smooth and creamy.

7 More tasty breakfast ideas: In hot weather, a fresh salad comprising of sprouts, herbs, raw vegetables and shredded greens, dressed with lemon juice and flax seed oil can provide and uplifting start to the day On chillier mornings, reheated vegetable soup from a previous meal, or a veggie wrap can make a filling substitute for a bagel or toast. Remember to aim to drink between 2-4 litres of water everyday and cut back on any dehydrating or acidic drinks
