It seems to love cold mornings which can be devastating to some daylilies but it also loves the heat where the ruffled edges sparkle green and the pink and cream highlights glisten in this incredible polychrome. Even at the end of the day after heavy rains and then hot sun SHAMROCK DEW looks as fresh as it did when it opened. Silver Serenade is a favorite orchid pink flower. It has taken the best from its famous parents, including the incredible beauty of Ted's Tribute to Linda. But it moves to a higher plane, since it is much taller than Ted's Tribute to Linda (thanks to Lady Alvatine), has a wider, even more intensely ruffled gold edge, and has much heavier substance. What a stunner! This bubble gum pink, frothy yellow and white bubbled edge is a masterpiece. Every single bloom opens perfectly every time. Spinefled has a base color of light orchid lavender, with a darker purple eye and a double edging of purple. The best part is the long silver spines on both the petals and sepals, and they are ALWAYS present even from the first bloom! What makes Spinefeld so amazing is even in cold weather there are teeth and tentacles. Spinefeld never has a bad hair day; the tentacles just keep getting longer and the teeth sharper. Fast increaser as well. The simple description of Stardust Memories would be that it is a lavender pink with a gold watermark, green throat and a huge ruffled gold edge. There are several special things about this flower. Of course, like most of Petit s flowers, it is large with a looping ruffled gold edge that goes almost to the midrib. It also has a heavy, waxy substance that makes the flower always look fresh. The watermark is a fascinating gold color with a tangerine overlay which matches and compliments the wide gold edge. While difficult to explain, the tangerine gold watermark, and its balance with the petal self and edge is fascinating and wonderful. In one word Voluptuous. Our the most deeply ruffled pink to date, with the cream to cream chartreuse edge being 1 inch thick and almost 1 1/2 inches deep. This rich rose pink blossom is a real stunner Be prepared to be stopped in your tracks and stare at this fabulous flower. One of the largest gold edges in the garden, regardless of self color. A heavy bloom with a very dark purple eye, and matching picotee. The purple picotee is edged in strong white ruffling, blooming nonstop. The color is just like the picture, red with a watermelon glow melding mainly in the diamond dusting. The scapes of When Royals Dream are tall and display the large wide open blooms to perfection, with never a bad hair day! On rebloom the green-gold edge is twice as large and is truly an amazing sight.
