3 producing Salmon-Safe Certified native plants on our sustainable and diverse farm, protecting fish and wildlife where we grow them. At any time of the year, a wide variety of insects, bees, birds, fish, frogs, and wildlife inhabit our own seed production blocks, nursery beds, and wetland, where they find healthy shelter and forage. As part of our sustainable business model, we partnered with Clean Water Services and Oregon Dept. of State Lands, to restore 25 acres of our farm to a natural wetland. This involved re-meandering a channelized ditch to a natural stream, replacing a culvert with a bridge to provide salmon passage, and replanting the wetland with native plants. This restored area is beautiful and we are very happy to say the local community has embraced this project and it is a source of community pride. 4 Product Types Bare-root Our bare-root plants are available for pick-up or delivery mid-january through April. These plants are ideal for larger scale restoration projects. They are well-balanced with large, fibrous roots which are ideal for rapid site establishment. Plants are sorted by size (12 +, 18 +, and 24 +) and bundled into groups of 25. We accept reservations for bare-root plants as early as the spring prior to the next planting season. Plants and preferred sizes are reserved on a first come, first serve basis so be sure to get your order in early to reserve the sizes and species you need. Containers, Plugs, and Bulbs Our container plants are well-formed with healthy roots and ready for immediate installation year round. We have a wide variety of native plants in containers #1 - #5 (formally known as 1-5 gallon containers). We also have 5.5 and 12 band pots and 4 and 5.5 plugs. Many of our native plant species grown in plugs can be potted up in the spring to be ready as #1s for fall planting. If you are looking for bulbs, we have several species available in small, medium, and large. If you need larger plant material, please give us a call to ensure we grow these to your specifications. Cuttings Our live-stake cuttings are grown from genetically diverse local sources. They are available in 12", 24", and 36 lengths. The stakes are tied in bundles of 50 to100 for ease of transport. 30 Additional Important Order Information Seed Collection Zones - We manage all plant genetics and guarantee locally-adapted stock and plant materials collecting all of our seed locally at low elevations in the Tualatin Valley and Northern Willamette Valley. Our plants are best adapted for use in restoration and landscaping projects from the central Willamette Valley, Oregon, north to Cowlitz County, Washington. Our seed collection zones are 251, 261 in Oregon and 042 in Washington. Special Projects -The staff at our nursery are available to our customers. We are interested in hearing from you if you have a special project, need additional plant sizes, or are looking for a variety of plants suited for your project. Please don't hesitate to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you. Minimum Order - Due to our wholesale nature, orders must be a minimum of $ Plant Deposits - A 25% deposit is required for purchases over $500 which will not be picked up or delivered within 45 days from the date of the order. Bare-root plant orders over $ must include a deposit of 25% within 30 days of placing the order. Bare-root orders are filled on a first-order-in basis and orders without deposits may be reduced or canceled. Rebate Policy - To receive a refund of a 25% deposit on a bare-root order, cancellation must be received prior to December 1st. Payments - We accept checks, cash, credit cards, and money orders. Please make checks and money orders payable to Scholls Valley Native Nursery, LLC. For credit card payments, a convenience fee of 2.75% per transaction will be added to the purchase balance. Pick-up and Delivery - To pick up an order, please contact us to arrange a date and time. We require 48 hours notice prior to pick-up. We do deliver. Please call to arrange a delivery date and time. Delivery fees apply. A minimum $50 handling charge applies to all deliveries and additional charges apply for deliveries over 25 miles. Additional charges - Our bare-root material comes in bundles of 25. Requests for breaking bundles and splitting of orders may incur additional fees. Tours/Visitors - We do welcome visitors.
