These cowboys gathered at the end of long days with their families and slow roasted meats over an open fire. Their evening dinners featured numerous meats carved tableside At Ipanema, the Brazilian churrascaria, meat is prepared and served as in days gone by, keeping the characteristic taste of each cut. We invite you to enjoy the delicious preparations of our gaucho chefs, along with our gourmet salad bar and authentic Brazilian side dishes. in accordance with authentic brazilian restaurants and the style of food service in Ipanema, we would request that guests refrain from smoking whilst seated at the restaurant tables, smoking is permitted at the bar area

2 dining experience Step 1: sit down, relax, and enjoy a drink while we explain the dining experience. Step 2: visit our gourmet salad and sides bar. Enjoy over 30 items including fresh cut vegetables, imported cheeses, cured meats and Brazilian side dishes. Step 3: turn your card green side up, signaling that you are ready for our gaucho chefs to begin tableside service. Step 4: choose from the 15 cuts of delectable fire roasted meats that are brought to your table, sliced, and served by our gaucho chefs. Step 5: when you are satisfied, flip the disc to the red side until you are ready for more offerings. Step 6: if you wish, end the meal with one of our delicious desserts. 3 Caipirinha Nobody knows for sure exactly who made the first caipirinha or why. We can only speculate that it was created to help the cachaça go down a little smoother because, after all, 'a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down...' Cachaça is made from the juice of the first pressing of sugarcane, and it is the primary ingredient in a caipirinha (pronounced => kai-pee-reen-yah).
