5 wine by the glass White 175ml Caraffe (500ml) Bottle Monte Clavijo Rioja Blanco Plenty of refreshingly tart fruit flavours of vibrant apple lifted by some lovely acidity on the finish. he most noticeable aromas are citrus, tropical fruits, green apple, fresh plants like hay, thyme, gorse, and camomile, as well as white. Cuatro Rayas Sauvignon Blanc, Rueda Straw yellow with steely rim. Spacious and inviting to the nose with a citrus background. The palate is smooth and balanced with notes of passion fruit and pineapple. Vivanco Rioja Viura Malvasia Blanco Really fresh and invigorating with intense and elegant aromas of green apple, citrus fruits, pineapple and some floral hints. Domingo Martin Albarino, Rias Baixas Rich and generous flavours of ripe peaches and pears, backed by a vivid streak of lemon and mineral acidity. Rose El Muro Rosado Garnacha, Carinena A lively pink that boasts lots of clean, crisp red fruit flavours and a dry finish. 04

Vivanco Rioja Crianza Produced in a winery reminiscent of a James Bond villains lair - Aromas and flavours of violets and red fruits, with a hint of vanilla spice and a long elegant. toasty finish. 8 galicia - green spain Regions: Rueda, Ribeira Sacra, Rias Baixas, Valdeorras The northern and northwestern portion of Spain, exposed to the northern Atlantic, can be cool to cold, wet, and green thus its name, España Verde. Red 175ml Caraffe (500ml) Bottle Pago de Valdoneje Mencia Bierzo Produced entirely from Mencia grapes, the indigenous red varietal from North-western Spain, this is a wine known for its fragrant, mouth-filling fruit characteristics. A Coroa Godello, Valdeorras A Coroa Godello, Valdeorras, Magnum Aromas are citrus, tropical fruits, green apple, fresh plants like hay, thyme, gorse, and camomile, as well as white flowers and mineral tones. Algueira Brandan Godello Ribeira Sacra A mind-blowing, pulpy textured, intense, yet perfectly balanced white with incredible clarity and tension. Exhilarating, seductive stuff. Cies Albarino Rodrigo Mendez Rias Baixas This wine is delicate and refreshing with flavours of citrus fruits, apples, and a delicate note of honeysuckle. A silky texture with a well-rounded finish. Algueira Cortezada Ribeira Sacra, Ribeira Sacra A clean, concentrated nose, more stony than fruity, with a well integrated toasty sensation and the same touch of popcorn found in a few top village wines from Burgundy. Complex and refined flavours. A truly great bottle of wine that highlights the Alguieras well deserves reputation. 07

9 duero river valley Regions: Rueda, Ribera del Duero, Toro The seat of power for much of Spain s history, this area hosts extremely high but easily workable vineyards along and beyond the banks of the Duero River. Numanthia del Toro An intense, robust and vivacious wine with phenomenal structure. Impressive fruit expression together with perfectly ripened tannins. Vega Sicilia Valbuena, Ribera Del Duero Made from younger vines. Only released after 5 years ageing. Spain s Chateau Latour, illustrious history, sense of place, immense respect. Vega Sicilia Reserva Especial, Ribera Del Duero Vega Sicilia, Spain s first growth ; and most prestigious wine estate. To the east, vineyards nestled along the base of the foothills of the Pyrenees hold vineyards where tributaries of the River Ebro nurture the vineyards of DO Somontano and the rare Moristel grape that charms many tasters with its tangy fruit and easy ways, along with more muscular Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and other red varieties. Gran Ducay Gran Reserva Tinto DO Carinena Aged in oak for 18 months, vibrant hints and flavours of ripe dark fruits with soft oaky tannins. Silky texture and a long smoky finish. Phincas Rioja Alavesa DSG Vineyards is a relatively new project based in the Rioja Alta region, producing fantastic Rioja, but in a very modern style. cherry colour with a purple trim. White 175ml Caraffe (500ml) Bottle Monte Clavijo Rioja Blanco Soft lemon and peach fruit on the nose and a crisply pressed palate with more citrus and peach notes and a subtle hint of fresh white flowers. Bhilar Plots Blanco Rioja Alavesa This white Rioja is fuller bodied but still very fresh. It has soft apple and stone fruit flavours, along with some nutty and honeyed notes. Instead, there are significant mountainous spots that offer the possibility of making high quality wines. 13 the mediterranean coast Regions: Priorat, Catalunia, Costers Del Segre The warmth of the coast from the French border to Almería can be mitigated by high altitudes, whether in Cataluña or in Valencia. Throughout most of this area, world class wines are appearing in places such as Priorat and Montsant, as well as established areas such as Penedés. Cava, the most famous sparkling wine in the world after Champagne. 15 sherry Regions: Montilla-Moriles, Sanlucar De Barrameda, Jerez Sherry is made exclusively in the areas lying between Jerez de la Frontera, Puerto de Santa María and San Lucar de Barrameda in the province of Cádiz, the Sherry Triangle. 75cl 75ml Bottle La Ina Fino Jerez NV Jerez The lightest and most dry of all the Sherries with tart and nutty flavours. Rodriguez La-Cave Manzanilla Barbiana Sanlucar de Barrameda NV A specific style of Fino Sherry from a more specialized region that s even lighter than Fino. Rodriguez La-Cave Goyesco Amontillado Jerez NV An aged sherry with nutty flavours of peanuts and butter. Rio Viejo Dry Oloroso Jerez NV A very aged and dark sherry that has higher alcohol content due to the evaporation of water as the wine ages. This is more like the scotch of Sherry. Alvear Pedro Ximenez Solera 1927 Montilla-Moriles NV A very sweet sherry with brown sugar and fig like flavours. 13
