1 Soap Crayons: Great Ideas to Use for Babysitting!!! 1. Put 2 Tbsp. of warm water in a one cup measuring cup. Fill the rest of the cup up with powdered detergent. 2. Put the water and detergent into a bowl and mix with a metal spoon. 3. Divide moistened mixture into four parts. 4. Add about 20 drops of food coloring to each part. 5. Add more drops for a deeper coloring, but too much red might make it brown. 6. Mix the color into the detergent using your hands. The food coloring will wash off easily. 7. Shape the lump into a stick form and allow to dry overnight. 8. The colors are easy to apply to many surfaces (bathtub wall is really good) and will wash off. Wet the tip of one of the sticks and you can use it as a make-up stick. Be careful to keep it away from the eyes because it will sting. 9. Use warm water to clean up. Face Paint: Mix equal parts cold cream and corn starch. Add food coloring. If you want it thinner, add a few drops of water. Easy to apply and easy to wash off. Kool-Aid Modeling Dough (cooked) 1 cup flour ¼ cup salt 2 Tbsp. cream of tartar 1 envelope unsweetened Kool Aid 1 cup water 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil 1. Mix dry ingredients in a medium sauce pan. 2. Stir in water and oil. 3. Stir over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes until mixture forms a ball in the center of the pan. 4. Take out of pan and put on a floured surface and knead for 1 minute. 5. Store in an airtight container. It will keep for a long time.

Keeps well, has a nice fragrance and is very colorful and very flexible. Basic Cooked Dough 1 cup flour 1 cup water 2 tsp. cream of tartar ½ cup salt 1 Tbsp. oil food coloring 1. Stir together and cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes. 2. Store in airtight container. DO NOT REFRIGERATE. Lasts almost forever. VARIATIONS: 1.
