1 Pampered Chef Micro-Cooker 2 Quart 1 Quart Microwaving any and all kind of leftovers. One Pampered Chef product you ll use daily (you ll want 2-3 in your kitchen!) Microwave smaller portions of veggies for 1. Just add some water & frozen veggies. Yummy Veggies in a can - add a little bit of butter and it comes out nice and tasty. Make oatmeal pouches for my toddler... or... Original oatmeal... ½ cup oats, 1 cup water, 2 min in microwave does not spill out of pot; add your favorite toppings, chopped fruits, cinnamon/sugar, syrup, etc.; eat out of pan, throw in dishwasher Scrambled eggs - add 2 eggs and a splash of milk; whisk together. Put on the lid and nuke for 2 1/2 minutes. You have a fluffy scrambled egg without the added fat! Top Ramen! Break up noodles, add sauce packet, cover with water (just over noodle level) and nuke for 4-5 min! Fresh Vegetables (Ex: Broccoli shake under water, toss in pot, microwave about 5 minutes and it s beautiful green and ready to eat...just like the restaurants; add cheese sauce and it ll be heated just right w/o cooking additionally!) Cauliflower may take a bit longer, as do carrots. Test in your microwave. Asparagus, etc. Soups, Spaghetti Sauce, Leftovers, Heat up refried beans for burritos. Melting chocolate: 1 minute on high, then seconds at a time, stirring after each caution, can scorch if you cook at too high a temperature for too long a time! Blueberry Syrup! Take a pint of berries - fresh or frozen, and cover them with REAL maple syrup - heat it up in the micro cooker for 3-4 minutes, and you have awesome homemade blueberry syrup perfect on your waffles in the morning! (so even if the waffles aren't homemade - the syrup makes 'em taste like they are!) Put 1 lb of frozen hamburger in it and place the microwave on the normal setting (not defrost). Every 3-4 minutes, break up the hamburger and it only takes 8-10 minutes to brown it. Slice the potatoes with Simple Slicer and cover with water. Put paper towels under in case overflows. Cook for 16 minutes drain through lid and add butter, milk salt & pepper...you get the idea! Yummy and quick! For the eggs, you put in micro-cooker and mix with milk. Cook for 1 min 30 sec - 2 min depending on your microwave. They should still be a little shiny and stir while they continue to cook for about 20 sec. You can add a little butter if you cook too long and S&P to taste. YOU LL find yourself using it every day for something, I promise! Great gift for college, 1 st apartment, singles, older folks, etc.

2 Micro-Cooker Recipes Ground Beef: Place 1 to 2.5 lbs. ground beef in the Large Micro-Cooker and place lid on the top. Microwave on high for 5 minutes (do not stop and stir!) May need an extra 1-2 min. for 2.5 lbs. Keep lid on the top and drain take off lid and break up ground beef. Can be frozen in small bags - to reheat put frozen ground beef in Micro-Cooker & place the lid on. Heat on high for 3 min. until hot. You can also brown ground turkey & ground sausage that same way! Variations: Add Taco Seasoning Mix for a fast Taco Bar!; Add Sloppy Joe Mix and top corn chips for great nachos!; Add a jar of spaghetti sauce, a little Italian Seasoning Mix, chopped onions a clove of fresh garlic for a great homemade pasta sauce!; Chili - see recipe below! Microwave Baked Potatoes - Scrub off a potato and if you want, season the skin with a little olive oil, salt or seasoning. Place potatoes in the Large or Small Micro Cookers. Place 3 tbsp. water in the Micro-Cooker and place lid on the Cooker. Microwave on high for 5 minutes for 1 potato or 10 minutes for 2 potatoes, depending on the size of the potatoes. Great with the steamed veggies below! Microwave Steamed Vegetables - Chop up veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, etc.) and place in the Micro Cooker. Add 3 tbsp. water and if desired some seasoning or fresh pressed garlic. Place lid on the cooker and microwave on high for 4-5 minutes. Scrambled Eggs - Place 2-3 eggs in the Micro Cooker & Scramble them with a fork or whisk. Add 2-3 tbsp. milk & a little salt, pepper or seasoning. Place lid on the Cooker and microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir and cook on high for one more minute. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, bacon bits, salsa, etc. 2 Ingredient Fudge - 1 pkg. (11.5 oz) milk chocolate chips & 1 container (16 oz) milk chocolate cake frosting (Pillsbury seems to be a favorite). Melt Chocolate chips in Micro Cooker stirring every 30 seconds for about 90 seconds. Add frosting and continue to melt. (You may also add VERY chopped walnuts - almost chopped to dust- at this time.) Allow mixture to cool a bit until it thickens some. Then place mixture into barrel of cookie press or Easy Accent Decorator. Press out shaped pieces of fudge onto parchment paper (or waxed). If using cookie press, it works best with disk #1. If using easy accent decorator, use open star tip. You can also use mini-muffin pan, filled with mini-cupcake papers, and fill with fudge mixture. Makes 60 small stars! Quick and Easy 10 Minute Chili - 1 lb. ground beef 1 pkt chili seasoning mix tomato paste water & whatever ingredients you like in your chili: chopped onions, beans, etc. Place ground beef in the Large Micro Cooker and place lid on the top> Microwave on high for 5 minutes (do not stop and stir!) Keep lid on the top and drain, take off lid and break up ground beef. Add chili seasoning mix, tomato paste, water (according to chili mix directions) and stir. Add any other ingredients and place lid back on Micro Cooker. Microwave on high for 5 minutes to heat and serve. Festive Chocolate Bark Candy - 1 pkg chocolate bark (blocks of choc. in a pkg) 2 C Rice Krispies Toppings: Chopped nuts, coconut, M&M's, chopped candy, drizzled chocolate, etc. Break apart the bark pieces & place in the Large Micro Cooker. Microwave on high for 2-3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. Melt completely and stir in Rice Krispies. Place a piece of parchment paper or waxed paper on a cookie sheet and spread out the melted chocolate on the sheet. Immediately top with different toppings, nuts, candy, coconut, etc. Place in the refrig or freezer for a quick set! Break into pieces. Iced Tea - 3 regular tea bags, 3 flavored tea bags (or 6 regular tea bags) Put 3 C water in the Small or Large Micro-Cooker and bring water to a boil in your microwave (about 4-6 minutes) Add the tea bags and let sit for 10 minutes Add 3 more cups of cold water This is great in our Quick Stir Pitcher! 3 The Micro-Cooker Top Ten: See the top ten things to prepare in your Large Micro-Cooker! 1. Brown hamburger meat - 5 minutes p/lb if thawed, 7 minutes p/lb if frozen. 2. Cook chicken breasts in the microwave - 7 minutes per breast. 3. Make baked potatoes in the microwave-- 5 minutes per potato, no holes, no water, no lid. Put seven medium potatoes in upright and microwave. 5 minutes per potato! 4. Mac-n-cheese -- follow microwave instructions on the box. 5. Slice red potatoes, add butter, salt and pepper minutes. 6. Rotel Party Dip -- brown 1lb hamburger or sausage for five minutes-- drain-- add small block of velveeta and microwave until melted (around 3 minutes), add rotel tomatoes and microwave until heated through. 7. Steam broccoli, cabbage, or any veggie of your choice, with a little water -- 5 minutes 8. Melt chocolate -- stop and stir in 30 second intervals. 9. Soups, spaghetti-os, and ravioli 10. Ramen noodles for the college student! Brown hamburger Crumble up 1 lb raw hamburger in cooker, cover, cook about 2 minutes, break up with spoon, cook another 2 minutes, etc., and drain grease through holes in lid. For less fat, rinse hamburger in hot water, draining through lid. Frozen hamburger works also. Add Ragu, Manwich, taco seasoning, etc. (You can buy the family packs of hamburger, and do up 6 pounds at a time. You ll always have frozen cooked hamburger in the freezer ready to go.) Eggs - Mix 2 eggs in Micro-cooker then cook in microwave for about 2 minutes. It comes out in a perfect circle that is great for egg sandwiches and when you are in a hurry. Steam chicken breasts Put 2-3 raw boneless, skinless chicken breasts in cooker, cover, cook about 7-8 minutes. No need to add any liquid. Frozen chicken works also. Baked potatoes Add just a little water in the bottom of the cooker (you don't even have to cover the bottom). Pierce the potatoes a couple of times. Place 3-5 potatoes (depending on size) in the cooker. Cover and secure with the lid. Microwave on high for approximately 5 minutes. Test for doneness. If not completely cooked, microwave 3-4 minutes more. The skins will not become wrinkly. Mashed potatoes Peel 7-8 medium potatoes, chunk up and place in cooker with a little water. Cover, cook about minutes until fork tender. Drain water, add butter, seasonings, and milk. Mash and serve right in cooker. (Make these early in the day, reheat right in the cooker, and serve.) \ Vegetables Add frozen vegetables, no water, heat about 5-7 minutes. Drain liquid and serve in cooker. (Stir in a can of cheddar cheese soup for a gourmet side dish.) For fresh vegetables add a little water first. Chocolate chips Melt chocolate chips about 1 minute. Chips will be semi-melted. Stir the rest of the way, the residual heat will melt the rest. Drizzle over desserts. Rice/Pasta Follow microwave directions on boxes of Rice A Roni, Stove Top Dressing, Macaroni and Cheese, Minute Rice, etc. If the directions say do NOT cover, follow it, otherwise it will boil over. Regular Rice 1 cup rice, 2 cups water, a bit of salt (or bouillon) and a table spoon of butter. Five minutes on HIGH, then 15 minutes at 50%. Comes out perfect every time! I've found that I also have the "bubbleover", so when I put it into the microwave, I put a folded paper towel and paper plate under my cooker to avoid having to mop up a starchy puddle. Bacon bits Cut up raw bacon in little pieces. Cover and cook. Stir occasionally. Drain and cool. Crumble up and sprinkle over foods.

4 Oatmeal - 2 to 1-1/2 minutes on high *** If you choose to cook foods high in fat or sugar in the micro-cooker, eventually it will get white discoloration. This white stuff in the bottom of the Micro-cooker is normal, is not harmful to your foods and the cooker is still fine to use. This discoloration is edible type talc that is built into the plastic to make it withstand high microwave temperatures. Vegetable Chart Add 2 Tbls. of water to bottom of Micro Steamer and place fresh vegetables in the colander. If frozen, follow bag instructions. Follow microwave times listed below: Asparagus spears 10 oz 4-6 min. Baked potatoes 3-4 min. each Broccoli spears 12oz 6-8 min. Carrots, ¼ slices 12 oz 6-8 min Cauliflower flowerets 10 oz 5-8 min Corn on the cob 2-3 min each Green beans 8 oz 6-7 min. Pea pods 8 oz 3-5 min. Peppers 10 oz 3-6 min Potatoes quartered 1 lb min Zucchini or yellow squash 12 oz 3 ½ -5 ½ min. Chicken Tetrazzini 6 oz refrigerated fettuccine 1 Tbsp. Olive oil or cooking oil 1 10 ¾ oz can reduce sodium condensed cream of chicken soup ½ cup water ½ cup milk 1 Tbsp. snipped fresh basil or 1 tsp. dried basil, crushed 12 oz skinless boneless chicken breast halves, cut into ¾ inch cubes Asparagus 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese Cut fettuccine into 2-inch lengths. In Dish combine fettuccine and oil, stirring to coat. Stir in soup, water, milk and basil. In Colander combine chicken and peas or asparagus. Place Colander in Dish. Cover and heat on 100% power for minutes or until chicken is tender and no longer pink, stirring chicken mixture once. Let stand, covered for 5 minutes. Stir chicken mixture into pasta. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serves 4. Southwestern Chicken Dinner 12oz. ground raw chicken or turkey ½ cup chopped onion 1 cup bottled barbeque sauce 1 small green pepper, cut into bite-size strips ½ of a 24 oz. pkg. Frozen potato wedges (about 24) Crumble ground chicken or turkey into Colander. Add onion. Place Colander in Dish. Cover and heat on high for minutes or until chicken is no longer pink, stirring once to break up meat. Wipe out Dish. Place potato wedges in colander. Place colander in Dish. Cover and heat on high for 8-11 minutes or until potatoes are heated through. To serve, spoon chicken mixture over potato wedges. Makes 4 servings. Mozzarella Meat Loaves 1 ½ cups quick-cooking brown rice 1 ½ cups water ¾ tsp. dried Italian seasoning, crushed 1 beaten egg white ¼ cup fine dry bread crumbs ¼ finely chopped green onions

5 1/8 tsp. garlic powder 12 oz. extra lean ground beef ¼ cup pizza sauce ¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese In Dish combine uncooked rice, water, ¼ tsp of the Italian seasoning, and ¼ tsp salt. In a bowl combine egg white, crumbs, onions, remaining Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and dash pepper. Add meat; mix well. Form mixture into 4 small loaves, arrange loaves around edge of Colander. Place Colander in Dish. Cover and heat on 100% power for minutes or until meat is no longer pink, rearranging loaves once. Spoon pizza sauce over meat; sprinkle with cheese. Let stand, covered, 2 minutes. Transfer loaves to dinner plates. Stir rice and serve with meat. Serves 4. Flip Over Pizza 1 lb. ground beef 1 celery rib, chopped 1 medium onion, chopped ¼ cup chopped green pepper 1 can (10-1/2 oz.) pizza sauce salt to taste ¾ cup biscuit/baking mix 3-4 Tbsp milk ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese 2 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese In Colander, crumble beef, sprinkle with celery, onion, and green pepper. In Dish place ½ cup water. Place Colander in Dish. Cover. Microwave on 100% power for 7 minutes or until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender. Stir once. Empty and wipe out bottom of Dish. Place meat mixture in Dish. Stir in pizza sauce and salt. In separate bowl, combine biscuit mix and milk just until combines. Roll out on a lightly floured pastry sheet pastry sheet into 9 inch circle. Place over meat mixture. Cook, uncovered on full power for 8 minutes or until toothpick inserted into crust comes out clean. Invert into a serving plate. Sprinkle with cheese. Makes 4 servings. Apple Crisp 1 stick butter 2/3 cup brown sugar ½ cup flour ½ cup rolled oats 1 tsp cinnamon ¾ tsp nutmeg 4-5 Granny Smith apples Slice apples and place in Microsteamer. Mix remaining ingredients and sprinkle over apples. Microwave on 100% power for minutes. Tomatoes Bacon Chicken 4 chicken breasts ½ jar of Kraft Tomatoes Bacon dressing ½ a squash ½ a zucchini Cut vegetables into pieces and place in top colander. Place chicken over the top of the vegetables. Place thicker side of chicken toward the outer side of steamer. Pour dressing over both. Cook for 10 min. Let stand for 3 min. Check to see if meat is done. If meat is not done replace in microwave for 3 more min. You can do this same recipe with Italian dressing, any Lawry s marinades or Cream of Mushroom Soup. You may also substitute pork for chicken. NOTES:
