1 CHURCHILL BAR The space currently occupied by Churchill Bar is adjacent to the original Grand Entrance to the hotel and has hosted a variety of restaurants and shops through the years. Although the hotel has always hosted a bar and gentlemen s smoking lounge, there have been many forms of this, including the original lounge located near what is now Ship Tavern, and Henry C s Bar, named for the hotel founder. Churchill Bar, in its current incarnation, was opened on February 22, 1996, and since that time has featured fine cigars and spirits in an intimate, library-like setting. Churchill Bar is notable as one of the few venues in Denver in which guests can still enjoy a drink and a cigar indoors since the 2006 smoking ban. The Sultan s Dream by Virgilio Tojetti was commissioned for the Brown Palace and has hung in the hotel continuously since opening in This work of art currently hangs in Churchill Bar over one of our oversized leather couches, overseeing guests as they enjoy singlemalt scotches, small batch bourbons, classic cocktails and, of course, premium cigars. Churchill Bar is a members lounge, with yearly memberships available for purchase. Our members have access to a private humidor stored in our humidor cabinet, as well as priority seating and the ability to make reservations.

2 Lobby Tea: No visit to our luxury hotel in Denver is complete without experiencing afternoon tea at The Brown Palace. Complete with herbal teas, scones, and finger sandwiches, our Denver tea room provides guests the opportunity to witness the unique longstanding tradition that is afternoon tea in Denver. After tea ends for the day, the beautiful atrium hosts cocktail hour complete with live music, delicious craft cocktails, and shareable bites. Ship Tavern: In addition to serving the best prime rib in Denver, Ship Tavern is an exceptional choice in dining, delighting guests with its menu of burgers, steak, seafood and ale. This casual and lively restaurant offers a vintage pub atmosphere and also features exceptional micro-brewed beer, premium spirits and wines, and live entertainment Wednesday through Saturday evenings. Palace Arms: Offering sustainable and seasonal cuisine, the Palace Arms menu goes above and beyond the well-loved classics, offering a variety of different options from ingredient-focused contemporary cuisine, tasting menus, and Private Dining Events. Recipient of Best of Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator Magazine and consistently rated as one of the best choices in downtown Denver fine dining experiences, Palace Arms at The Brown can easily be considered the hotel s crown jewel. Coffee Shop: The Brown Palace is home to Coffee & Tea Co., tucked in a cozy corner located right inside the main entrance of the hotel. This popular morning spot offers Allegro coffee and tea, and an array of pastries and baked goods prepared daily by the hotel s pastry kitchen.
