2 FOUR GENERATIONS OF THE BONZER BRAND Mitchell & Cooper s tale is one that dates back 137 years to 1879, when Mitchell & Cooper were Silversmiths and Engravers. However, sadly Mitchell passed away only one year after the company was established leaving Mr Cooper to continue the good work. The company continued as a Silversmiths and Engravers for a number of years until the war took hold during which it was forced to change its path. It evolved and transformed through many guises during the early days, evolving its product ranges with the times, including trench periscopes and aeroplane parts for the war. Then later in the 1920 s establishing its very own brand Bonzer and crafting its path into the catering and cocktail world. their hand at making cocktail equipment. And with the great successes of the first items off the production run, such as one of the original Hawthorne Strainers, Thimble Measures, Bar Spoons and Cocktail Shakers the brand was established and had made its mark on the industry. A number of years on and with a heritage to be proud of we have revisited some of the classic tools. We have taken on board the very much appreciated comments from professionals along the way and evolved some of the designs & look and feel to give that classic Heritage quality and value. Not forgetting that ever important design that you just can t live without.
