Our new calendar includes some fantastic new events from a luxurious afternoon of styling and expert advice from Rigby & Peller, to a fascinating talk by the BBC s Antiques Roadshow s expert on the history of tiaras. All our special events are held in the beautiful surroundings of the Imperial Room, Harrogate or the Belmont Room, York where you can also book a table and enjoy our wonderful Lady Betty Afternoon Tea, served every Thursday to Sunday. 3 IMPERIAL ROOM, HARROGATE Our Imperial Room can be found upstairs at Bettys Harrogate. Decorated in elegant Regency style with large windows overlooking Montpellier Gardens, stained glass and a traditional open fire, it provides a light and roomy setting for lunchtime special events and a comfortable and welcoming backdrop for evening dinners, talks and soirées. PRIVATE HIRE The Imperial Room is also available for hire. It is suitable for breakfasts, luncheons or dinners for up to 70 guests and cocktail parties for up to 100 guests. Bettys founder Frederick Belmont was inspired by the luxury he found upon the maiden voyage of the luxurious Queen Mary ocean liner and he employed the same craftsmen to fit out the room in a similar style. Such refined surroundings provide the perfect setting in which to relax and enjoy our special events. At this event two actors tell the story of his life.
