4 Adam Smith, Coworth Park Thursday 28th February Former Roux scholar Adam Smith joined Coworth Park at the Dorchester Collection s country house hotel, Berkshire, as Executive Chef in Since then he has been turning heads with his exceptional modern British food, and in October 2017 achieved a Michelin Star and 3 AA Rosettes. Dining at Coworth Park is about the best of the British products, cooked in a simple fashion with a respect that allows them to shine. Chris Harrod, The Whitebrook Tuesday 8th October Chris Harrod Chef Patron of The Whitebrook delights in the abundance of produce that can be found simply by opening his front door - every dish on his menu, from breakfast through to dinner, features a foraged ingredient. Within 11 months of opening, The Whitebrook was awarded a Michelin star, and the restaurant has since won an AA Wine Award for Wales, and Inspectors Choice Restaurant with Rooms at the AA Hospitality Awards The Whitebrook has become one of only 39 restaurants in the UK to hold 4 AA Rosettes. 5 An Evening with Edouard Oger Thursday 4th April Edouard is originally from France and has worked his way around some of the very best hotel wine cellars in the UK including Hotel du Vin and Malmaison and two Michelin starred Gidleigh Park. He is a Master Sommelier with a world of experience and is now a Wine & Spirit Consultant for the Court of Master Sommeliers Worldwide. Come and enjoy this unique opportunity to enjoy local dishes created by our Executive Chef Allister Barsby, and extraordinary knowledge of Master Sommelier Edouard Oger. An Evening with Nigel Owens MBE Thursday 27th June Nigel Owens MBE is a Welsh International, World Cup and Heineken Cup rugby union referee. Born and raised in a small village in South Wales he was appointed as an international referee in Nigel has officiated many important games including the 2015 Rugby World Cup Final between New Zealand and Australia at Twickenham. Nigel is also known as a TV personality, as one of the presenters of the S4C Welsh language chat shows Jonathan and Bwrw r Bar. Owens also hosts his own quiz programme Munud i Fynd. In 2011 he was made a member of the Gorsedd of Bards. We are delighted to welcome Nigel Owens to the Grove for an intimate evening, where he will share his stories and anecdotes of his time in the world of rugby. Guests will be welcomed with a Champagne and canapé reception with the man himself, before indulging in our Executive Chef Allister Barsby s Welsh themed menu. 9 Billecart Salmon Champagne Dinner with The Three Welsh Tenors Thursday 20th June Grove of Narberth is proud to hold this extraordinary dinner hosted by the legendary luxury Champagne House Billecart-Salmon, together with a unique performance from The Three Welsh Tenors. Since an international panel heralded the 1959 Cuvee Nicolas Francois the Champagne of the Millennium, Billecart- Salmon has established itself as a magical source for 1, 2 and 3 Michelin starred restaurants across the world. The evening will commence with a Champagne cuvees and canapé reception, hosted by John Atkinson of Billecart Salmon. This will be followed by a 4 course dinner and matching flight of wines, and an exclusive concert from Tri Tenor Cymru to complete the evening. The Three Welsh Tenors comprise Rhys Meirion, Aled Hall and Aled Wyn Davies, each of whom are professional tenors. Enjoy a guided tour of our garden and manicured grounds by our new Head Gardener and horticulturalist James Kettle, who has joined the team from the National Botanical Gardens of Wales. Following your tour, the team will serve you a delicious 3 course lunch, introduced by our Executive Chef Allister Barsby, using produce from our very own kitchen gardens. 45 per person, arrival 12 noon Flower Arranging Class & Afternoon Tea Sunday 7th July Join us for a guided tour around our beautiful and blossoming gardens with London Florist Lucy Bewhay. Champagne, canapés and roaring log fires will begin your evening at our black tie and posh frocks event. Our Executive Chef Allister Barsby will then serve an extravagant 4 Course Celebration Gala Dinner specially created for the evening. Entertainment will be provided by the Numbers Racket Jive and Swing Band until midnight.
