Highly break-resistant and dishwasher-safe, this robust glass is designed to withstand the tough demands of everyday catering use. It is made seamlessly in a single piece, with no join between the stem and the bowl. 3 Tradition 1893 was the beginning WMF firstglass is the culmination The first WMF glasses were pulled from the fire back in 1893 and turned into beautiful, high-quality vessels. Over the years, automation and increased efficiency gradually took over from production of hand-blown individual pieces. One constant, though, has been the knowledge acquired over decades and the quality that results. WMF firstglass is the brilliant proof.

4 WMF firstglass Design less is more No other product can match perfect glass as a showcase for something special. Perfect quality and the finest finish are immediately obvious to the touch. Not even the tiniest imperfection mars the view of the inside. The effects are not created by glass as a material, but by the fine reflections and the smooth, curved shapes. 5 WMF firstglass form follows function Essential A practical selection of glasses does not have to occupy a gigantic glass cabinet. After all, it makes sense to own only glasses in designs that truly delight the palate. BURGUNDY Gives wines ample breathing room and interaction with oxygen thanks to its large cup design and generous opening. Perfect especially for full bodied red wines and those with low tannin content. BORDEAUX Comes in a slightly slimmer and higher design to concentrate the bouquet and to place the emphasis on the fruit flavours of the wine. The optimum glass for red wines rich in tannin. RED WINE GOBLET The versatile classic design with a narrow opening to ensure that the focus is never on the acids of the wine. These glasses are perfect companions for red wines, but also for full-bodied and Barrique matured white wines. WHITE WINE GOBLET Small volume holding narrow glass that keeps the focus on the bouquet and fruit flavours of the wine. The ideal glass for light-bodied, dry and younger white wines. PORT Small goblet for dessert wines that does not place excessive focus on the residual sweetness of these wines. CHAMPAGNE, SPARKLING WINE - These glasses come in the characteristic tulip design that fosters the development of foam on champagne and sparkling wines. Thanks to the sparkling point, they create bubbles that are more subtle and elegant. MARTINI Its typical triangular design makes the Martini glass the probably most recognized bar glass for classic cocktails. BRANDY GLASS The perfect snifter with its wide vessel helps evaporate the brandy into aroma, while the narrow opening helps to trap the aroma of noble cognacs or brandies for pure enjoyment. 6 Divine WMF DIVINE divine drinking pleasure Just like in the days of hand-made individual pieces, Divine is convincing with a gently curved, thin-walled bowl tapering down fluidly to the stem and base. And the bowl narrows towards the top to enable the bouquet of the wine to develop fully, to maximise the drinking pleasure. 11 Impression Making a mark Marks and vignettes Screen printing enables logos to be applied in fine detail, including in several colours. So you can reproduce your logo perfectly. If your logo is engraved by sandblasting, it is permanently preserved in the glass and provides an unbeatable touch of finesse. But no two logos are alike. A complex logo can be far harder to fix on the glass than a simple, straightforward one, for instance. That s why the prices for multicolour printing and sandblasting have to be calculated for each individual job. Often, there s nothing one can do about it. Contact with sharp objects in the dishwasher will cause this for nearly any frequently used glass.
