Venue Hire at the Mill on the Exe. Thank you for your enquiry regarding holding your Function with us here at the Mill on the Exe. Our downstairs bar area is available for exclusive hire. You will have access to your own bar, toilets and a section of our garden which we can make private. We can cater for up to 120 people for a buffet, and up to 80 for a sit down meal. The following room hire Prices are as follows, providing you Purchase Food: Half Day - 75.00 Full Day - 150 No food - 350 subject to date and availability These rates include full private use of the lower floor and use of our bar up until 11 pm If you wish to have the bar open later then the following charges will apply Bar open till 12(midnight) - 50, Bar open till 1a.m. 150 (subject to licensing application) If you were looking to book for under 40 people, we have an area which we can reserve for you. This would not be exclusive and would not incur a room hire charge as the bar will be open to the general public. Please contact us for more information and to check availability. We will provide, and set up, all of the tables with cutlery and glassware as needed. You are welcome to bring any other decorations, and we are more than happy to set this all up for you. We would like to have a meeting to discuss your Function requirements and to show you the various different areas we can offer you and your party. We will make sure someone is available the day before your function for you to drop everything off, and finalise the plans. You are welcome to bring a cake, which we can store overnight in our cooled cellar. Please see below our current buffet menus and samples of our three course set menus. We can be flexible with these, if you have any ideas which aren t covered here please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate this. You can Organise your own band or DJ. Or we can do this for you.
