Hello! Welcome to the 15th Plough Beer Festival. This festival s theme is The Six County Battle ; a round up of the finest ales and ciders from across the six East Anglian counties, with the majority of ales having been chosen by you. Thanks to everyone who voted and apologies if your favourite ale isn t here; there were loads of suggestions and sadly not all ales were available for various reasons, despite best efforts. The majority (24) of the ales are on the cash-only ale bar, with the rest on the usual main bar. We offer a cashback service there too, as well as menus if you re hungry. You ll find each ales location (either on the ale or main bar) in the tasting notes. Musically, we ve some real gems for you, with 8 FREE amazing bands over 5 days. From folk to pop, rock n roll to punk, indie to chilled out acoustic sets, we re pretty sure there s something for everyone. On Easter Monday, any stillage ales left are reduced to 2.50 per pint purchased at the ale bar and we have our monthly pub quiz at 8:30pm on Easter Monday, too (winner takes all cash prize, free nibbles at half time and the 50 Killer Question) Have fun, enjoy and thank you for supporting the festival. Cheers! Kate OPENING HOURS AT THE FESTIVAL Thursday 2nd April 12pm to 11pm Good Friday 3rd April 12pm to 12am Saturday 4th April 12pm to 12am Easter Sunday 5th April 12pm to 11pm Easter Monday 6th April 12pm to 11pm (Pub Quiz Monday night, 8pm start, any remaining festival ales 2.50 p.pint) Children (under 16) welcome at the festival in the bar side until 9pm only please. Songs and tunes 200 years and older mingle comfortably alongside some of the latest to be released. Nothing is safe. Material is from everywhere and pretty much everywhen. Ian and Liam - father & son - have performed at folk clubs, festivals, motorcycle rallies, parties and have appeared on TV several times, finding that the wealth of material at their disposal allows them to work in front of many different audiences. Their repertoire is constantly growing and they are quite open to suggestions and odd requests at gigs when they will have a go at stuff they vaguely know or have heard somewhere, sometime...
