We have 14 beautifully furnished function rooms in elegant surroundings and with views over the promenade and Steyne Gardens. We are able to cater for every budget, from a small, informal gathering to a grand affair for up to 160 people. Our large function rooms lend themselves well for discos and dances and can be completely blacked out if appropriate, whilst our smaller rooms provide the perfect ambience for a truly memorable occasion. Function Room Hire The function room chosen usually depends upon the number of your guests and event format. The Devonshire and Georgian Suites are the most favoured rooms for large functions and evening receptions. For a sit down meal on round tables, our Devonshire Suite seats a maximum of 110 guests. The room hire cost starts from 350.00 for part day or evening only, to 595.00 for the whole day. Our Georgian or Shrewsbury Rooms are smaller and can accommodate 60 guests for a sit down meal. The room hire charge starts from just 170.00 for part day or evening only, to 275.00 for the whole day. For a more intimate gathering, we have many other rooms available, seating from 8 to 40 guests. Private Parties Please note for private parties we have a minimum food spend policy which is dependent upon number of guests attending and nature of function. Please speak to our Event Co-ordinators for further information. Private Dining Luncheon A lunch menu is available between 11.30hrs 14.00hrs for private functions Three-Course Lunch Menu 1 @ 17.50 per person Three-Course Lunch Menu 2 @ 19.95 per person There are two lunch menus enclosed for you to choose between. The final numbers and each guest s menu choices are required at latest two weeks before the date of your function. Room hire costs are dependent on the size of room required and length of function. Please discuss room hire rates with our Conference and Events Team. Evening Dining Please find enclosed our Banqueting Menus from which to make your selection. Each guest s menu choice is required at latest two weeks prior to your function date. There is a reduced menu charge for children under 12 years of age. We can cater for children and those of your guests with dietary requirements. Should you require guidance in compiling your menu, or you have your own ideas or favourite dishes, we will be happy to try and accommodate these. The Management reserves the right to change any conditions within these menus without prior notice. 2
Buffet Menus Please also find enclosed our selection of buffet menus, should you require a more informal event. Accommodation For any of your guests wishing to stay overnight, a special accommodation rate can be offered dependent upon season and availability at the time of booking. All of our 97 en-suite bedrooms have WI-FI internet access, Freeview TV, tea/coffee tray, trouser press, hairdryer and a desk. We offer double or twin rooms for single occupancy to all guests and many rooms also have sea or garden views and airconditioning. The hotel has two lifts servicing three floors. Booking Instructions Should you wish to make a provisional booking we would be able to hold this for you for two weeks without obligation. Once your requirements have been discussed and agreed between yourselves and our Conference and Events Team, a signed Function Contract and a non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation. The amount required as a deposit is dependant on the size of the party, at the discretion of the Manager. We strongly recommend that you take out a comprehensive insurance policy, as deposits once paid are non-refundable. Final numbers and menus should be confirmed at least two weeks prior to your event. Your final balance is required in full at this time also, any additional charges incurred after this time will need to be settled in the week leading up to your function. Should you require guidance with any other arrangements such as Florist, Disco, Toastmaster, Photographer, etc., we will be happy to help. Car Parking On street parking is available outside and around the hotel and is free before 9am and after 6pm and also on Sundays and Bank Holidays. During the week we are able to offer discounted vouchers to our guests currently 6.50 full day, 4.00 half day. In addition to the above, we have a negotiated rate with the High Street NCP multi storey car park located in the High Street, Worthing. This car park is fully secured and open 24 hours a day. Leisure Facilities Our newly refurbished Games Room on the lower ground floor is designed to enhance any private lunch or dinner and offers a Skittle Alley, Snooker and Pool Table, Darts Board and Table Tennis. You are welcome to view the Chatsworth s facilities without obligation. We would be pleased to discuss any particular requirements you may have. 3
