The Bull is situated in the heart of the Barton in the Clay village, which lies at the foot of the northern slope of the Barton Hills. Built in 1694, the building is over 300 years old, however, the village itself can be found in the Domesday Survey of 1086. The Bull Pub is prominently positioned in the centre of this popular Bedfordshire village, which is perfectly located in the rolling countryside, the gateway to Barton Hills national nature reserve, and the beautiful Sharpenhoe Clappers. The Bull, a stunning period property, has been brought back to life and up to date without losing its heritage. Three local businessmen and friends took ownership in February 2018. The bustling bar, full of wooden beams and real English character, provides a haven to unwind, entertain and do business.
