Growing in the vast tidelands beneath the clear waters of Korea s west coast, these palm-sized oysters have a chewy texture and are rich in nutrition and minerals. Unlike the normally cultured oysters, they are grown by a special system originated from France. The oysters are placed within bags on racks above the tideland, meaning that they are soaked in the nutritious water when the tide is high and are exposed to sunlight at low tides. The oysters grow fast during their fight against the tides. Fresh oysters will be offered at the K-Food Party a great chance for all oyster-lovers to try out this precious delicacy. 1
