Parents/carers f children at the Pre-Schl are made aware that all the Pre-Schl s plicies are available fr them t read n the Pre-Schl s website and that a hard cpy is als available frm the Pre-Schl ffice. Allergies are recrded n the child s registratin card which is used during snack times. The registratin card has a phtgraph f the child and a lists any allergies/dietary requirements. Registratin cards are als clur cded t further alert staff allergies / dietary requirements (see appendix 1). There is als a list f children with allergies in the kitchen. We require staff t shw sensitivity in prviding fr children s diets and allergies. Staff d nt use a child s diet r allergy as a label fr the child r make a child feel singled ut because f his/her diet r allergy. Children are asked t bring in a piece f fruit r vegetable t each sessin that they attend. The fruit/vegetables are then prepared by staff (with the help f children) and made available fr all children t share during snack time.
