TERMS & CONDITIONS BOOKING CONFIRMATION AND DEPOSIT Large group bookings are subject to availability so be sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment. A tentative booking will (on request) be held for a maximum of 3 days. To confirm your large group booking a filled in and signed large group booking form and a copy of this page signed must be returned. Once the booking form has been received your booking will be confirmed. CANCELLATIONS We appreciate that circumstances may occur, which could make it necessary for your large group booking to be cancelled. In all circumstances written notice is required and the following cancellation fees apply. 24 hours or more to time of booking - no fees charged Less than 24 hours to time of booking is given - $200 cancelation fee charged to credit card. PRE ORDER Availability for a table must be checked prior to sending a pre order. Please contact us the day prior or no later than 10am on the day of. Once your booking has been confirmed Pre orders must be submitted by 10:30am to kinggeorge@pignwhistle.com.au on the day of the booking however earlier is much appreciated by the chefs. Our menus are seasonal and subject to change please check our website for latest menus. All steaks will be served medium unless otherwise specified. It is the organiser s responsibility for payment of all meals. FINAL GUEST NUMBERS AND DETAILS We understand it can be difficult to organise a large group of people and therefore we are very flexible and will assist you where possible. However please ensure you advise us in writing of changes such as your number of guests attending, menu changes, dietary requirements and any other details. Changes can be made up until 24 hours prior to your booking time. FINAL PAYMENT Final balance is due for payment on the day. Payment can be made with cash or eftpos. One bill only per table unless prior arrangements have been made. In the event that guests cannot attend or do not show the full amount will be due and the responsibility for payment is with the organiser. FOOD AND BEVERAGE POLICY Due to the nature of the venue s licence and policies, we are unable to permit patrons, guests or invitees to bring liquor or food onto the premises. LIQUOR LICENSING AND RESPONSIBLE SERVICE Only valid forms of identification will be accepted. Dress standards apply unless prior arrangements are made. Those unable to present id and under the age of 18 (minors) are welcome to attend your booking under the following strict regulations. Minors must be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian. A responsible adult accountable for supervising a minor as defined by the liquer act as a parent, step parent, guardian or adult who has parental responsibility for the minor whilst they are on the premises. Minors and those without id must not approach the bar and must not consume any alcohol. Minors and those without id must stay in the function area at all times. Our obligation under the liquor act state that we are not permitted to serve or continue to service of alcohol to patrons, who in our opinion are unduly intoxicated or disorderly. Management reserves the right to exercise regulatory conditions at any time during your booking if it is believed that the alcohol consumption rate is excessive. CAKEAGE Our pastry chef can create a range of specialty cakes suitable for any occasion small or large and customised to your needs. Please ask us for our cake list and for more details. A standard $4 per person cakeage fee applies to all bookings bringing in external cakes. For a $8 per person cost the chefs will portion the cake and plate it with cream and coulis. Should you wish to bring an external cake strict non-negotiable conditions apply. The risk for our chefs is they have no control over the manufacturing of such cakes and therefore cannot be sure it complies with our food safety program standards. Our chefs will only accept cakes into the premises if the client agrees that a 100gr sample of the cake can be retained when being portioned by the venue for safe keeping in the event a food poisoning situation should occur this can be sent off for laboratory testing. PROPERTY AND DAMAGES Pig n whistle King George Square will take all due care with client/guests and third party property, however we do not take responsibility for any items, that have been left behind, lost, stolen or damaged during your function. DECORATIONS You are welcome to supply any additional decorations to compliment your table. Please check with us prior to bringing such decorations to ensure their suitability.
