Opened in 1875, the Royal Brighton Yacht Club, has extended and progressed over the years, becoming the beautiful, waterfront venue it is today. Now a large modern facility, this stunning venue not only serves as the perfect location for anything from conferences, to cocktail parties and weddings, but also offers combined excellent service, attention to detail and of course friendly experienced staff. The Royal Brighton Yacht Club team has a vast range and years of experience when it comes to planning and delivering exceptional events. Catering for events ranging from 10-500 guests in a number of the clubs private event spaces gives you numerous options when hosting your event at Royal Brighton Yacht Club. Our culinary and events team work closely together to deliver an ever changing seasonal menu using fresh and local produce. Packages to suit every occasion have been carefully put together and we can tailor menus if required and get really creative to help meet your vision.

CLASSIC PACKAGE $125 per person alternative serve menu including 5 hour classic beverage package Choice menu available upon request for an additional charge of $15 per person ON THE TABLE Bread, virgin olive oil & balsamic vinegar, cracked pepper & Mount Zero pink salt flakes Our bread is sourced from the local Woodfrog Bakery in St. Kilda and made with organic flour and free range eggs. ENTREE Pumpkin and ricotta cheese ravioli with tomato and pesto concasse. Selection of cured meats with port roasted pears marinated goats cheese, grilled ciabatta. Confit chicken and roasted parsnip salad with salsa verde and capsicum coulis. Seafood chowder, prawns mussels, calamari and reef fish in a creamy seafood stock. House beetroot cured salmon with horseradish crème fraiche, croutons and micro herbs. Prawn and zucchini lemon scented risotto with crumbled feta and crispy basil. MAIN Herb crusted Barramundi with nicoise style salad with white wine sauce. Lemon and thyme marinated Chicken breast with caramelized onion smashed chats and broccolini with a seeded mustard hollandaise. Queensland grass fed porterhouse medallions, mashed potato wilted spinach red wine jus. Crispy skinned salmon with a goats cheese skordalia, roasted asparagus and lemon butter sauce. Slow cooked lamb shank in a Shiraz ragout with a jeweled couscous and buttered peas. Orange and herb confit duck legs with French sautéed lentils and plum jus. DESSERT Double chocolate tart with pistachio honey combed rocks. Yoghurt and Chai panna cotta with hazelnut tuile. Triple Brie and Vintage cheddar served with fruit, quince paste and crackers. Pear poached in spiced red wine with an oat and coconut crumble served with double cream and a red wine reduction. Roasted pumpkin goats cheese and confit leek giant ravioli with burnt butter almond sauce and plucked chervil. ½ doz Pacific oysters,3x pickled ginger and Wasabi dressing, 3x sesame and panko crumbed with miso mayonnaise. Prawn and crab ravioli with a smoked paprika bisque sauce and buttered broad beans tossed with dill. Braised pork belly on a pickled carrot, toasted sesame seed and coriander salad with a sticky star anise sauce. Seared Japanese scallops with fennel puree, crispy chorizo and mint salsa verde. Eye fillet Beef Carpaccio with crispy capers, sliced shallots, frisee and lemon tarragon dressing. Hot smoked salmon belly and prawn laksa with fried tofu and fresh bean shoots and Asian herbs. MAINS 300 gm Moisture infused pork cutlet with pea puree, polenta crumbed Roman artichokes stuffed with currants, pine nuts and feta served with aged sherry jus. Tuscan marinated corn fed chicken breast with a medley of sweet potato, balsamic roasted onions, spinach, Danish feta, Caponata and basil oil. Herb rubbed crispy skinned Salmon with a crushed Kipfler potato and crab Salad Sauce Choron. Crispy skinned Duck breast with lemon sautéed silverbeet, pureed Jerusalem artichokes and Juniper berry jus. Seasonal Reef fish with steamed clams, pimento tomato concasse, a fennel and fine herb salad. Whole roasted grain fed Angus Porterhouse with creamed celeriac, wilted spinach and a confit garlic jus. Miso baked Salmon with Udon noodles, prawn gyozas and a soy lime fish broth. 4 point Lamb rack with a caramelized onion and potato rosti, honey roasted Dutch carrots and a baby onion jus. DESSERTS Strawberry and vanilla bean bavarois on a Grand Marnier sponge and a blueberry compote. Ginger and Chocolate cheese cake, ginger chips, crushed nougat and coco double cream. Warm Fig and date English tea infused pudding with orange caramel with whipped double crème. Classic crème caramel with a twist. Caramelised coconut cream, mango, mint, lime salad and brandy snaps. BEVERAGE PACKAGES Beverage packages run for 5 hours at the commencement of your reception time. Should you wish to extend the time please add $6 per person per half hour block or $500 per half hour block, whatever the maximum. Please speak with your event manager about what you wish to offer and if only to limited guests BEVERAGE SERVICE Beverage service includes the following; Dedicated bar serving the wedding guests only Tray drink service for arrival Red and White wine are placed on each table and replaced throughout the event If a table is consuming mostly beer then jugs can be provided Guests are welcome to approach the bar throughout the event to order drinks

Every wedding is one of a kind and our true love and passion is seeing something different each time. Arrive By Wind & Sail Arrival of the bridal party or entire party via private yacht (can depart from St Kilda or somewhere local) enjoying champagne and strawberries just before the big day. Have your guests watch you arrive from the Yacht Club. A truly grand entrance. Floral & Design Flowers add a fantastic look to any event. Creative designs, bright colours and of course that wonderful smell will really bring your whole wedding together. Speak with your event manager about colour matching and themes available. We are also able to assist in putting you in touch with some of Melbourne best florists. Furniture & Accessories We work closely with a number of furniture, linen and lighting suppliers who all have great inhouse teams to assist in giving your wedding the look you desire GENERAL INFORMATION Venue Inspections We request appointments be made to ensure room is available and we have the time needed to talk through your wedding event carefully. One of our event managers will meet with you from Tuesdays - Sundays during business hours or if required can arrange something after hours. Deposits & Payments A deposit is required to secure the booking and a payment schedule will accompany you booking contract. A 10% surcharge applies on Sundays and public holidays. Full payment to be received one month prior to event. Numbers must be confirmed seven days prior. VENUE CAPACITIES: ROYAL BRIGHTON YACHT CLUB A landmark location positioned on the water overlooking the marina and city, and enjoying spectacular sunsets. Our Bayview room seats 220, or 200 with a dance floor and the Olympic room seats 70, or 50 with a dance floor. The Bayview room can also hold 500 as a cocktail party or 450 with a dance floor and the Olympic room can hold 100 as a cocktail party or 80 with a dance floor. Seating for 14 is also available in the Commodores Room. MINIMUM NUMBERS The Royal Brighton Yacht Club does not charge room hire if minimum numbers are met. Should minimum numbers not be met a room hire fee is applicable: BAYVIEW ROOM: 100 guest minimum (or rental applies) OLYMPIC ROOM: 40 guest minimum (or rental applies) THE VENUE FEATURES 3 separate state-of-the-art kitchens 3 individual bars and ability for pop up bars throughout the venue Private function rooms over-looking the bay Disabled access and disabled parking Late liquor license ACCOMMODATION We work closely with Quest Brighton on the Bay Apartments directly across the road in providing accommodation solutions for guests. AUDIO VISUAL We provide a small range of audio visual solutions including brand new sound system, roof mounted projectors and standard music playlists. For all other AV solutions we work closely with ProAVSolutions and are happy to assist you with any requirements. Charges apply.
