HOLIDAY DEPRESSION HOW TO RECOGNIZE AND BEAT IT On Monday, December 11 th at 1 p.m., Dr. David Carr from Carr Chiropractic and Wellness will be discussing the signs, causes, what to do for a friend or yourself and how chiropractic and good nutrition can help. This presentation will be followed by the Longest Night Observance. LONGEST NIGHT OBSERVANCE Christmas can be a painful time for some. It may be the first Christmas without someone we love, or we are still hurting from loss or suffering for a long time or it may be a time that has always been difficult. All these can make us feel very alone in the midst of the celebrating. On Monday, December 11 th at 1:45 p.m. we will hold a Longest Night Observance. This will be a time to acknowledge our sadness and concern and to know we are not alone. And to be reminded that it is okay to mourn, even at Christmas. You will also have the opportunity to help decorate a Longest Night Christmas tree, in the Center, in which you can place an ornament in memory of a loved one or in honor of someone you care about that is going through a difficult time. NEW YEAR S CELEBRATION The Center will be ringing in the New Year on Thursday, December 28 th at our New Year s Celebration. The Center will be transformed into a ballroom-like setting complete with dance floor and dance music by Bob Alexander. Come and enjoy a traditional pork and sauerkraut meal, a New Year s toast, dancing and a lot of fun! Please sign up at the Center or by calling the Center at 610-367-2313. MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR! The Center Staff would like to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Safe, Healthy and Happy New Year!
