Accommodation You will spend your two-night stay at the luxurious Finchcocks coach house. This 18 th century, grade II listed stately home is nestled amongst beautiful Kent countryside, on the edge of the attractive village of Goudhurst, approximately 1 hour from London. The coach house is designed and outfitted to the highest specification; each room is unique but expect some four-poster beds, ancient wooden beams, fireplaces, the highest quality mattress and luxurious bedding, ensuite bathroom and stunning views. Relax in the peaceful garden, recline in the cosy snug by the fire and dine in the grand dining room. The Yoga On Friday evening we will kick-off with 60 minutes of relaxing flowyoga and grounding meditation, to ease guests into their weekend and encourage them to melt away the stresses of the week. On Saturday we will start the day with an energizing power yoga practice. Flowing through a 90-minute sequence to wake-up and energize the whole body. Option to practice outside if the weather is good. On Sunday morning we will practice 90 minutes of fun and flowing power yoga to release and reset the body ready for the week ahead! The yoga practice will be all levels and beginners are welcome. Extras Sound Healing Gong Bath On Saturday late afternoon we will go on a transcendent soundhealing journey via an extra special gong bath. Led by Joanne Burchfield (Gong practitioner and Reiki Master), this is a restorative and physically passive practice where we lie comfortably supported by bolsters, blankets, and eye pillows and allow the gongs and singing bowls to do their magical work. For those of you who have never experienced sound-healing (I had not until recently) it is a beautifully grounding and calming journey, a real treat for mind, body and soul! Essential Oils There will be an essential oils mini workshop on Saturday afternoon. This will include a brief introduction to the health and wellbeing benefits of essential oils and the opportunity to sample lots of oils to make your own unique blend; either a yoga mat spritz or a pulse point rollerball.
Massage There is the optional extra treat of a Theraputic Sports Massage on Saturday morning or afternoon. Massage therapist Millie Friday will be bringing her healing hands to our retreat and offering 1 hour full body massage for just 35. Other There are some lovely local walks from the Finchcocks estate, as well as Scotney castle which can be visited on foot from the retreat location. The Food Delicious, nourishing and indulgent food is a HUGE part of the retreat experience and you will be well taken care of by our inhouse chef. Freshly-made, vegetarian, scrumptious meals will be provided from Friday supper through to Sunday breakfast. All dietary requirements will be catered for. Sample menu Breakfast: Healthy porridge with all the toppings, Fresh Fruit salad, Avocado toast. Lunch: Homemade butternut squash and coconut soup with fresh ginger and chili. Homemade cheese scones. Chia seed, Almond Milk and and summer fruits pudding Dinner: Veggie Provence stew with seasonal greens and sourdough bread. Raw, vegan chocolate pudding. Tea, coffee and soft drinks are included and unlimited. If you would like some wine or beer with your evening meal, please fee free to BYO and use the kitchen fridge. There will be plenty of snacks all day long please help yourself to fresh fruit salad, date and nut energy balls, and pitta with homemade hummus etc. Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday will be served after the Power Yoga practice but you might like a bit of fruit and a cup of tea to keep you going between waking and hitting the mat!
Prices and Booking All-inclusive price is 399 for solo occupancy or 320 per person for double or twin occupancy. Please note that all rooms can accommodate couples (double bed) but only 1 room can accommodate two friends or family members sharing (double and single bed) so if you are interested in the twin, let me know asap! How to book Bookings will be made by confirming with me via email and paying a non-refundable deposit of 199 via online bank transfer Balance of 200 to be paid by August 6th Cancellation policy: Cancellations can be made any time up 2 months before the event but the deposit will be nonrefundable. Cancellations which take place within 8 weeks or less of the start of the retreat may be charged full rate due to the difficulty of filling the space at the last minute.
