C 0 D The stocks of all Cod totalled 3,180,518 of which 1,521,647 were Frozen Fresh; 607,305 Frozen Smoked, and 1,051,566 Cured. These figures are equivalent to 99.9 per cent of last month's stocks and are 136,567 more than the stonks on April 1, 193e. There was an apparent net "OutofStorage" movement of 4 thousand as compared with 745 thousand for a similar movement last year. The quantity frozen 3uring March 1939 was 988,803 as compared with the total of 760 0 000 for March 1938. HADDOcK. All Haddock stocks including Finnan Haddies, were 1,471,320 consisting of 764,362 Frozen Fresh; 674,254 Frozen Smoked and 32,704 Cured. These are less by 17. per cent than the stocks of March 1, 1939 and 337,980 less than at the same time last year. The apparent net "OutofStorage" movement was 307 thousand the "OutofStorage" movement was 299 thousand Last year The catch frozen during March 1939, 542,620, was 252 thousand greater than the quantity frozen during March 1938. CT.JSK The stocks totalled 63,539 Those stocks are 35.8 per cent less than & POLLOCK. the revised figures for March 1, 1939. SkLMON. Holdings of all were 3,222,358 made up of 2,754,572 Frozen Fresh; 10,176 lb Frozen Smoked, and 457,610 Cured. These holdings are 550 thousand greater than at April 1, 1938 and 38.5 per cent less than those of March 1, 1939. The apparent net "OutofStorage" movement during March was 2.0 million as compared with a similar movement of 1.6 million during March 1938. frozen during March 1939 totalled 96,800 as compared with 58,950 last year. SEA HERRING. The total stocks of this clossifieation, including Kippers and Bloaters, were 4187,166 as compared with 2,868,891 last year and are 80.4 per cent of last month 1 5 revised figures.
