Wyoming State Muzzle Loaders Association November/December 2015 www.wyomingmuzzleloaders.com Howdy, This has to be the most beautiful fall season I have ever seen. Warm days, cool nights, and no wind or snow. Although unsuccessful, I had a wonderful elk hunt. There is nothing better than sitting in a meadow, surrounded by tall grass, the smell of pine, a light warm breeze, and watching a bull elk walk across your path (when you have a cow tag). Well, I am sure winter will be fast upon us and we will turn indoors to share our summer stories with good food and good friends. The Winter Convention will be here soon and is a perfect time to share your summer adventures. Please mark your calendars for January 22, 23, and 24th. Now is also the time to gather those auction items, squirrel away a few coins to spend with the traders, and pick out your favorite photo for the photo contest. Contact Trish if you have any questions. See you soon, Melissa

Hi Muzzleloaders: I just found out that the Big Horn Basin Muzzleloaders Annual Turkey shoot and feed is November 8 th, 2015. Starting around 10:30 am. The women are in charge of the targets. This will be our annual pot luck turkey dinner, please bring something to share with everyone. This is usually our largest shoot of the year and some of the best food. Entry fee is usually $5.00 and aggregate winners usually win a frozen turkey or partridge. I am using usually because I didn t make the last shoot, so I don t know exactly what was decided, I was visiting our newest granddaughter Olivia when she was at Denver Children s Hospital. Please pass this along to anyone who may be interested in attending. Bill and Kathi Morrison We need your pictures, flyers and other items for the newsletter by Dec. 15th to be published in the January Newsletter.
