New Choices for Diners by Michelle LeBlanc Cy-Fair eateries offer something new What s for dinner? Good question. After a long day at work, piano lessons, and soccer practice, who has time to think about dinner? You could drive through and get fast food, stop at the deli, or try one of the new dining options in the Cy-fair area. Capriccio This Spanish-based cuisine is the mastermind of the owners of Mezzanotte, another popular restaurant in the area. Capriccio s menu is still being added to, but their tapas (small plate dishes) count has already reached 25. For now, you can bring in your own wine, but the owner wants to eventually profile his great Spanish wines. I must say that Italian and Spanish cuisines have always fascinated me and I am very excited to now fully focus on both at Mezzanotte and Capriccio, says owner Gerry Sarmiento. 10865 Jones Rd., Houston 281-807-9442 Cypress Station Grill Their motto is ALL ABOARD never happens until you re here! They ve only been open for a few months, but they make it a point to cater to the customer. Owner Paul Bellows even states on his website that he looks forward to serving all of the new neighbors the best family style food that they ve ever tasted. 26010 Hempstead Rd., Cypress 281-304-1290 To advertise, call 281-579-9831 or email sales@cyfairmagazine.com CY-FAIR MAGAZINE 53

Patrons can choose from 20 different entrees, including side dishes, desserts, salads, and fresh fruits, according to owner Rachel Atherton. Markeeta Fisher picks up a meal from Family Feast about three times a week. Fisher likes the fact that there are a good variety of meals, which are made from quality products, and are healthy. It s so easy to come home from work, pop it in the oven, and do what you need to do, and you have a home-cooked meal. I don t know what we d do without this. 26084 Hwy. 290, Cypress 281-373-4760 54 CY-FAIR MAGAZINE Visit CyFairMagazine.com for Cy-Fair jobs, events, news and more.
