Some limited street parking is allowed on Sunnyside Avenue. Note: Availability and parking in close proximity cannot be guaranteed and the Zoo is not responsible for any damage that may occur to your vehicle. Conduct of Event: You agree to conduct an event that is sensitive and appropriate to the surrounding environment. You assume full responsibility for the conduct of anyone associated with your event during the time they are under your control; these include guests, children, invitees, employees, or independent contractors employed by client. Furthermore, you must conduct the event in an orderly manner in full compliance of all applicable laws, codes, and rules and regulations set forth by Utah s Hogle Zoo. Menus & Guarantee: Your final menu selection must be received (14) days prior to your event. Your minimum guaranteed attendance must be received (7) business days prior to your event. If attendance falls below the guaranteed number, the group will be charged for the guaranteed number on all food and beverage. If count increases less than 72 hours before the event date, you may incur a cost of $7 additional per meal. Additional changes to the Event Order (EO) or contract within seventy-two (72) hours of your event are subject to an additional service fee. An additional fee of $50 for labor will apply for groups under 35. Service is for 1.5 hours. Food and beverage service charge is 20%. Deposit: 50% is due upon signing the contract and the remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the event. Cancelation Policy: If the event cancels within 60 days of the event date, 50% of the contract is due; within 30 days, all pending balance is due for food, beverage and rental. All deposits paid in advance are non-refundable. Security: The Hogle Zee security personnel will be on-site during events and is provided at no extra cost. For liability/security reasons, all items must be removed at the conclusion of the event.
Event Services Information & Additional Services Event Services Taste is here to provide excellent service and quality culinary creations. We engage our guests in socially valuable experiences through the Hogle Zoo. Work with your catering manager to add-on any of the incredible animal experiences & activities the Zoo has to offer to create a truly memorable experience for you & your guests! Important Information Food cannot be taken from the premises by any party other than the catering department. Last minute orders are gladly accepted, but please know they may incur a fee of $7 for each added meal. Final event details are due to the catering department 14 days in advance guarantees are due 7 days prior to your event. Prices listed are subject to change due to market changes. Sales tax is 7.85%; service charge of 20% on all food and beverage. All buffets are served for up to 1.5 hours. Groups under 35 are subject to an additional $50 for food service. A signed contract detailing all arrangements, food guarantees & rental will be received by SSA. At time of contract signing, 50% deposit is due. 7 days prior to the event, final balance is due.
