Welcome to Scott Damien s on the Lake. We hope, on the next few pages, you will find a combination of food and drink that is as special to you as you are to us. Now in our seventeenth year, we hope this menu continues to tempt and delight your taste buds. In the Starter Section the Duck Spring Rolls continues our enjoyment of duck and the breadth of tastes the use of spring roll wrappers enable. The Asian Crab Cakes reintroduces sand crab to our menu. In the Pasta Section our use of the two more common pasta bases, the cream and the tomato and basil, continue. However our use of the Chinese rice wine Shao Hsing and our own fifteen hour chicken stock reduction provide lighter but highly flavorsome bases for a variety of other pasta dishes. In addition, the new pasta, the Moroccan, incorporates pulled lamb into the pasta section for the first time. The Mains Section continues with our Daily fish dish whatever is available straight from the suppliers and the Daily Curry made constantly by Scott too often the use of specials on a menu seem to us to mean whatever is about to pass its use by date! Calamari continues but this menu uses the fingers served in banana blossom rather than the calamari tube. Returning to the menu are the Australian Black Lip Mussels served in your choice of sauce. Lamb returns as a roasted rack infused with honey and rosemary. In the steak section we have retained the Eye Fillet and the OP (oven prepared) Rib Fillet but added significantly to the sides and toppers. We hope you enjoy designing your own steak dish! Our Lighter Lunches have been popular for years. This menu adds significantly to these choices and introduces Sliders into the Lighter Lunches menu for the first time. Also returning for the cooler months is the Soup of the Day coupled with a crusty Pasta Dura Roll straight out of the oven.
