Issue 85 For children with special needs and disabilities and their siblings NOTES from Kim. Well welcome to the December newsletter. Not many notices I am pleased to say, however can you note the Christmas celebrations; it s either the meal out or the Christmas party not both. There should be places for everybody, but last year the older ones meal was oversubscribed due to the size of the restaurant. The exception is of course our lovely volunteers who can volunteer at the party and then attend the meal. For those attending the meal it is very important that you pre book we need menu choices in advance. Just tell Claire, also deposits are not refunded if you don t turn up, so please just consider this when booking. There is a very tight turn around for this newsletter can I ask that you respond immediately but definitely by 20 th November. I just wanted to acknowledge Cameron Homes They recently did a very brave mud runner event for us and raised over 3,000. So a huge thank you. You can name your time slot if it helps and older children are welcome. Monday Night Cycling No cycling during November because of the alternative use of Aldersley. However there will be two sessions on Monday 3 rd and 10 th December. Cycling will then close for Christmas returning on Monday 16 th January 2019. There are still places on cycling if anybody would like to join the group. The Christmas Party on 8 th December does have places for Staffordshire children. Please remember to book via the booking helpline. Although it is expected most parents will stay, you can leave your children with us unaccompanied, but you must make it clear in advance. For Staffordshire parents and new members please note the Christmas Party is always well attended and very busy and of course loud. Siblings are welcome, children who are nieces Nephews etc are also welcome but we would ask that you pay a heavily subsidised donation of 3 per child. Please be clear on numbers of children attending Father Christmas asks us for this information well in advance as he needs to know how many reindeer will be needed to pull the sleigh.
