NORTHERN CRAFT IS HAWKSHEAD BREWERY S 10 TH SUMMER BEER FESTIVAL The first one in 2007 was put on to showcase the revolution in British brewing. And that s what we have been celebrating every year since, as the revolution continues to gather pace. There has never been a better time for British beer... more breweries, more beer styles, more innovation, more flavours, more crazy and exciting ideas. Let s celebrate that. Many of the pioneers of the new wave of craft brewing are here in the North of Britain. NORTHERN CRAFT is a showcase for them. So, this is a festival of northern craft brewing, but we have also invited a southern guest, Siren, because Siren is at the heart of new wave craft brewing as the founder and convenor of the International Rainbow Project of which Hawkshead is an enthusiastic part. The Rainbow Project, every year, pairs 7 British breweries with 7 foreign ones with the challenge to collaborate in the brewing of a beer based on a colour of the rainbow. To mark our 10th beer festival we are taking collaboration to a new level... a mass collaboration of at least ten brewers. They ll be brewing for all to watch on Friday of Northern Craft and then they ll be around to talk beer. The mass collaborators are: Thornbridge, Siren, Buxton, Ashover, Quantum, Marble, Magic Rock, Cloudwater, Fyne Ales, Roosters, Pivovar, Hawkshead.

OPENING HOURS Thursday - Saturday 12-11pm We advise transport home is arranged in advance, and within 30 minutes of bar closing times. Last orders will be called 30 minutes before closing.
