In the beginning of the 19th century, the Price family was well established in Copenhagen with their popular amusement theatre. Business was blooming. Then Georg Carstensen opened Tivoli in 1843. The competition became too fierce and the Price family had to close down. Some of the family members followed Carstensen to Tivoli and started The Pantomime Theatre. Today, almost 170 years later, we still think that Tivoli is a one-day wonder and that it is only a matter of time before we re-open the amusement theatre. Until then, we have by opening this restaurant chosen to follow the old saying; if you can t beat them, join them... James & Adam
