Terms and Conditions The Nest & Vine Bar Our Standard booking conditions for the Sugar Gum Hotel function room are as follows: Minimum people required for a finger food function in the Nest is 35 adults, with a different choice of menus attached. The minimum number in the Vine Bar is 60 adults with a choice of menus to suit any budget. A $200 Room Hire fee may be applicable if minimum requirements for a finger food or sit down menu are not met in either room. 2. The Hotel and function area is fully licensed so no alcohol is to be brought onto the premises. 3. As licensed premises, any guest at the function under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by his/her parents or legal guardian. 4. The Hotel does not accommodate 18th Birthday Functions and for all other birthday parties you will be required to liaison with the functions coordinator for confirmation on conditions. 5. To book 21st Birthday Functions, the hosts are to meet with the functions coordinator to discuss the hotel criteria for such occasions. $150.00 will be charged per extra security guard required, this amount being non-refundable. 6. Upon booking the function a $200.00 Bond deposit is required for all Functions.This deposit is fully refundable at the end of the function provided all conditions are met. 7. Functions will not be considered confirmed unless the Bond deposit is paid in advance. Hosts must meet with functions coordinator to discuss any function details upon confirming function. All costs and required information including security charges and catering must be paid in full at least seven days prior to your event. This is with the exception of bar expenses. Any variation in numbers at late notice will be at the cost of the host. 8. Bookings, which cancel at late notice, will forfeit the deposit paid. 9. Enquiries will only be held for 3 days after which the functions coordinator will require a cancellation or confirmation of confirmation.
10. A function can begin at your nominated time and finish anywhere before 1am Sunday to Wednesday and 3am Thursday to Saturday. Managers may use their discretion to conclude the function prior to finishing times. 11. The only food which may be brought into the venue by the Function Host is a cake, lollies, chips and nuts. Any other food requirements are to be supplied by the SugarGum. Any special dietary requirements are to be discussed with the function coordinator prior to the function. 12. Final numbers must be confirmed one week prior to the function and the host will be charged accordingly. Any variation in numbers at late notice will be at the cost of the host. 13. As the Host you are financially responsible for each confirmed guest and for any damage sustained to the premises/furniture by any persons attending your function. 14. Children are to be strictly supervised at all times within the venue. 15. The Sugar Gum Hotel will not be held responsible for any losses sustained if for any reason beyond our control that the function cannot proceed as scheduled due to fire, industrial dispute, power failure, water main break or any other reason. 16. The Sugargum Hotel does not accept personal Cheques or Diners Club as method of payment. Methods of payment. Eftpos/Credit card/cash (Strike out non-applicable) 17. The Sugargum Hotel reserves the rights to limit the quantity of alcohol consumed by any particular guest. 19. Window covering is not permitted and any items that you wish to adhere to windows must be pre approved by the functions coordinator. 20. $150.00 to hire Jukebox. 21. $50.00 charge for use of Audio Equipment for ipods etc.
