Westbier Imports Product Guide WestBier Imports European Artisanal and Craft Beer March 2017 British Columbia

Brasserie St Feuillien - Belgium St. Feuillien is a family owned brewery founded in 1873 and located in the town of Le Ruoeulx southwest of Brussels in Belgium. It is currently run by the fourth generation of the Friart family on the original site of the Abbey of Premonteres (now Abbaye St-Feuillien du Roeulx). St. Feuillien is a small to mid-sized brewery producing less than 25,000 HL annually, still using the original water source, a deep spring located under the brewery. The brewery is the producer of several international award winning beers. The full product line includes a Blonde, Triple, Brune, Saison, Grand Cru, a Noel, and a line of fruit beers under the Grisette label. St Feuillien Triple The Triple is a medium to full bodied Belgian Triple. On the nose there is a definite fruity aroma that also carries honey, spice, and typical Belgian yeast aromatics. Flavors include a mélange of malts, apricot/peach/banana, spice, and Belgian yeast. Compared to other Belgian Triples it is crisp and dry, less yeasty, and very refreshing. Ratebeer 98. ABV of 8.5%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24; plus specialty 9L bottles. St Feuillien Blonde The Blonde is a light and drinkable example of a Strong Belgian Ale. One of St Feuillien s flagship products, it showcases a distinctive yeast, perfumed with aromatic hops and spices. Malty with fruity flavors of peaches and melons and a dry, lightly hopped bitter finish. Winner of a Silver Medal at the Australian Beer Awards in 2011 and 2012 and World's Best Abbey Pale Ale in London 2010. Ratebeer 87. ABV of 7.5%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24 St Feuillien Brune The Brune is a classic example of a Belgian Abbey Dubbel, malty and fruity, with a good dose of caramel and a touch of spice. It is somewhat sweet, rich, and medium to full bodied. The beer was a Silver medal winner in the 2012 Brussels Beer Challenge. Ratebeer 95. ABV is 8.5%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24.

St Feuillien Saison This beer is a great product in the hard to define Saison category. It is crisp and fruity, yeasty and tangy, and quite refreshing. Well known worldwide, it won Silver medals at the European Beer Star in 2015 and the US Open Beer Championship in 2011; and it won Bronze medals at the Australian Beer Awards 2011 and the Brussels Beer Challenge in 2012. Ratebeer 93. ABV is 6.5%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24.. St Feuillien Cuvee de Noel The Noel is one of the best winter beers in Belgium. It is produced annually as a vintage product and is generally available after September. The beer is creamy and warm with a big malt and toffee presence and lots of spice. Brewed for cellaring. Ratebeer 97. ABV of 9%. Available in 750ml bottles -case of 12, and 1.5 litre bottles - case of 4.

Abbaye des Rocs - Belgium Located in Montignies-sur-Rocs in Hainaut province near the French border this very small family run brewery (less than 2000 hl annually) started commercial operation in 1979 and is located on the original site of the Abbaye des Rocs. Some of the buildings date from the original abbey and water is still drawn from the original source on the abbey grounds. Run by Nathalie Eloir, one of the few women brewsters in Belgium, the brewery focuses on artisanal products using original recipes that have been handed down through generations. A number of dark, complex, Abbey style beer are brewed in a traditional manner along with a number of lighter blondes and witbiers. Abbaye des Rocs Brune The Brune is an incredibly big, malty, Abbey style beer made with seven types of malts and three different hops. To the nose there are rich aromas of warm spice, dark roasted malts, dark pitted fruit, and raisins. Flavors are of toffee, dark cherries, dates, and spice. There is an inherent sweetness, but of interest, no sugar is added during production. Ratebeer 100. ABV is 9%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24. Abbaye des Rocs Grand Cru The Grand Cru is also a big malty, Abbey style beer. Not to be outdone by the Brune it is also very complex, with more dark fruit, cherries, and caramel in the mix plus hints of licorice and tobacco to make thing interesting. Smooth and medium to full bodied. Ratebeer 100. ABV is 9.5%. Available in 750ml bottles, case of 12.

Abbaye des Rocs Triple Imperiale The Triple Imperiale is a big Belgian Dark Strong Ale. It is malty, soft, full bodied, and sweet. There is definite dark fruit and malts to the nose, and the flavors carry these along with a good dose of caramel, a bit of orange/citrus and a hint of chocolate. A good paring as an appetizer or with a desert. Ratebeer 99. ABV is 10%. Available in 750ml bottles, case of 12. Abbaye des Rocs Blanche des Honnelles Blanche des Honnelles is a complex and fruity Belgian Witbier. Along with the typical yeasty, wheat aromas of this style there is also a nice maltiness, and notes of fruity oranges/ bananas and spice. It s complex, but not overpowering. Ratebeer 91 (98 for style). ABV of 6%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24. Abbaye des Rocs Montagnarde Named after a town in the proximity of the brewery the Montagnarde is a fruity Dark Strong. There are aromas of ginger, oranges, and toffee; and flavors of brown sugar, raisins, roasted malts and spice. Ratebeer 95. ABV of 9%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24.

Brasserie Artisanale de Rulles - Belgium Located in the Ardennes of southern Belgium, La Rulles is a small family brewery which started operation in 2000, and produces less than 2500 hectolitres per year. Truly a craft brewery, products are unique and hard to categorize, the brewery uses yeasts from Oval and hops from the Pacific Northwest to create distinct flavors. La Rulles Grand 10 The flagship for La Rulles, the Grand Dix is a big bodied blonde with a huge dose of malts. Aromas and flavors of citrus, thick honey, and big tasty malts, followed with a bitter finish. Great for a meal of light grilled meats, fish, or pasta. Ratebeer 95. ABV is 10%. Available in 750ml bottles, case of 12.

Bockor Brouwerij (Brouwerij VanderGhinste) Located in Bellegems in West Flanders near the French border, this one hundred year old brewery is one of the few remaining family run breweries still brewing Flanders sours using traditional spontaneous fermentation and barrel aged methods. Cuvee des Jacobins Rouge Cuvée des Jacobins Rouge is a Flanders Sour Red Ale, garnet red in color with a balance of malty sweetness and acidic sharpness. The characteristics of the beer are a result of spontaneous fermentation and an 18 month aging in French oak cognac barrels. The beer has a strong aroma of oak and flavors of sour cherries, vanilla, and fruit abound. Bronze medal (Belgian and French Ales) 2015 Vancouver Magazine Craft Beer Awards. Ratebeer 99. ABV is 5.5%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24. Ratebeer 85. ABV is 5.5%. Available in 250ml bottles, case of 24.

Prearis - Belgium Since opening Prearis (Vliegende Paard Brouwers) in 2011, homebrewer Andy Prearis has been continuously collecting awards at European beer festivals. In 2013, Prearis won Ratebeer s best new Belgian brewery award. Among a number of great offering, most notable are Andy s Quad based products, including a coffee infused quad and various barrel aged variants. Prearis is located outside Bruges. Prearis Belma Belma is a classic Belgian Witbier with nicely balance aromas and flavors of orange peels, white pepper, coriander and sharp wheat, rounded off with interesting floral and hop notes. Ratebeer 84 (style). ABV is 5%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24. Prearis Quadrupel The mainstay of the Prearis portfolio and the first commercial product, the Quad has lots of complex, interesting aromas and flavors including dark fruit (plums and figs), brown sugar, and oranges, all on a rich malty background. The original recipe won the Belgian homebrewer completion award in 2011. Ratebeer 95. ABV is 10%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24. Prearis Quadrocinno The Quadrocinno is brewed with coffee beans from Costa Rican to add additional complexity and flavors to the base quad. The result is an incredibly different and delicious dark ale with all the original aromas and flavors of the Quad plus mellow creamy coffee. In 2014 the Quadrocinno won the best dark beer award at Zythos and a bronze medal at the Berlin Craft Beer Awards. Ratebeer 94. ABV is 10%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24.

Prearis Grand Cru Barrel Aged Prearis regularly ages the Quad in various barrels to create a Grand Cru. Different versions are released approximately every six months. Previous versions used Bourbon, Cognac, and Ardbeg Peated Whiskey barrels. Ratebeer 86 to 96. ABV is 10%. Available (when available) in 375ml bottles, case of 12.

Hornbeer - Denmark Hornbeer is a very small, family run brewery in Denmark producing less than 1500 hectolitres annually, which makes spectacular porters and stouts, (amongst other great beers). Run by the husband and wife team of Jorgen and Gunhild Rasmussen the cottage like brewery is located an hour s drive out of Copenhagen in the farming county of Kirke Hyllinge. The couple run both an on-site brewery and an art gallery, and Gunhild s art is prominent on the Hornbeer bottles. These beers are really something special. When available The Fundamental Blackhorn The Fundamental Blackhorn is a big stout, brewed with several dark malts and honey, with a big hop presence (120 IBU), and aged in oak and walnut barrels. The result is a medley of favors including coffee, licorice, honey, oak and walnut. The Blackhorn won gold at the Stockholm beer festival in 2011 and silver at the World Beercup in California in 2012. Ratebeer 99. ABV is 11%. Available in 500ml bottles, case of 12. Caribbean Rumstout The Rumstout is also a big stout, brewed with dark malts including a small proportion of smoked malts, coffee, spices, and rum. It is then aged in oak barrels. Flavors of dark roasted malts, chocolate, oak, and a hint of rum. Perfect for sipping or deserts. Ratebeer 99. ABV is 10%. Available in 500ml bottles, case of 12. Viking Chili Stout Not to be outdone by its peers the Chili Stout is brewed with chocolate, coffee, licorice, vanilla, and chilies. Flavors come through exactly as expected; rich dark coffee, lightly charred peppers, vanilla, and milk chocolate, with a bit of heat at the end. Ratebeer 97. ABV is 10%. Available in 500ml bottles, case of 12.

Hophorn If there was a category for an Imperial Black IPA the Hophorn would fit right in. Best said by Jorgen: With Hophorn we will try to combine the best of several beers. Hop bitterness and flavor and fragrance from an IPA, malt body and a hint of toasted malt from a stout or porter. The color is as walnut - deep and dark. We have hopped to 135 IBU; dry hopped abundantly with four hops. There is sweetness from 5 different types of barley malts, caramel flavors from crystal malts and notes from chocolate malts. Hophorn is very tasteful, and should be enjoyed in glass goblets it has a most beautiful beige foam crown. Ratebeer 98. ABV is 9.3%. Available in 500ml bottles, case of 12. Black Magic Woman Another great big stout, the Black Magic Woman combines roasted barley malt, birch smoked malt, peat smoked malt, caramel malts with additional ale malts. There are aromas and flavors of vanilla, dark fruit, coffee and light smoke. Very nicely balanced; oily and smooth. Ratebeer 99. ABV is 10%. Available in 500ml bottles, case of 12. Russian Imperial Stout The definitive stout, the RIS! Pitch black, this beer delivers coffee, cocoa powder, bitter chocolate and a hint of peaty malts. And it does it without a two digit ABV. Very Hornbeer, and absolutely beautiful. Ratebeer 96. ABV is 8.1%. Available in 500ml bottles, case of 12.

Grisk Hornbeer does an IPA! And just like the stouts it s top notch. A West Coast style IPA with lots of fruit and citrus. Clean and slightly sweet. Worldwide medal winner. Ratebeer 92. ABV is 6.4%. Available in 500ml bottles, case of 12.

To Øl - Denmark To Øl (Two Beers) is a young Danish brewery founded by Emil Jensen and Tore Gynther in 2010 based on an earlier working relationship with Mikkeller. The beers are big and varied, with a focus on quality over quantity, and many small barrel aged variants. Definitely edgy and interesting, To Øl has been consistently rated as one of the top new breweries in the world by Ratebeer, (ninth best in 2014.) Goliat The Goliat is a big imperial coffee stout brewed with specialty coffee and oats. As expected there is an aroma of black coffee and dark roasted malts, but there are also sweet vanilla notes that hint at the flavors which follow up with sweet dark chocolate and espresso. Like several other big, high quality Danish stouts this one is a warm and a great after dinner sipper. Ratebeer 100. ABV is 10.1%. Available in 375ml bottles, case of 12. By Udder Means This beer, as the name suggests is a creamy milk stout with a lower ABV. With an emphasis on creamy, this beer is thick, smooth and full. With noticeable hops in both aroma and flavor it may be best described as a combination of an oatmeal stout and a rich black IPA, with a bit of coffee and dark fruit. Interesting and unique. Definitely tasty. Ratebeer 98. ABV is 7%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24. Sur Amarillo Just as it sounds, this one is a single hopped sour Amarillo IPA. Partly sour mashed and brewed with wheat, then dry-hopped over and over with Amarillo hops to create both a fruitiness and a flowery tartness. Aromas and flavors of candied citrus, nectarines, grapes, and sour tropical fruits; all on a nice sweet malty base. Ratebeer 95. ABV is 7.5%. Available in 30 litre kegs, and 330ml bottles, case of 24.

Sur Mosaic Sur Mosaic is a single hopped sour Pale Ale. Partial sour mashing adds an acidity that balances out some of the round fruity notes of the Mosaic hops. Aromas are of tropical fruit, with additional pineapple and citrus flavors. The result is a crisp, tart, fruity pale ale. Ratebeer 95. ABV is 6%. Available in 30 litre kegs, and 330ml bottles, case of 24. Sur Galaxy Carrying on with the Sur series this one is a single hopped sour Black IPA. Sur Galaxy has a rich roasted malt profile, and is smooth yet light bodied, with a tart finish. Balanced and finished with the citrusy and passionfruit like hop profile of the Australian hop Galaxy. Ratebeer 93. ABV is 7%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24. Gose to Hollywood Gose to Hollywood is a salty, sour, light Gose brewed with California oranges. There are loads of fruit to the nose and palate; oranges, peaches, nectarines and mango. A fantastic beer for the low ABV. Great any time of the year. Ratebeer 96. ABV is 3.8%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24. Black Ball Black Ball is an Imperial Porter with a dose of Northwest hops. Definitely pushing the limits of a porter this beer presents dark chocolate and dark fruit to the nose and carries same into the flavor with a nice balance of big dark malts and hops. It s rich. Silver medal (Porters and Brown Ales) 2015 Vancouver Magazine Craft Beer Awards. Ratebeer 98. ABV is 8%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24.

Black Malts and Body Salts Black Malts is To Øl s take at a Black IPA (One of ). But like their other beers, there is a twist; specifically the infusion of coffee in addition to a healthy dose of Northwest hops. Big aromas and flavors of roasted malts, hops (grapefruit/pine), and coffee. Unique, but like the others, the common theme is big; according to Ratebeer it is the second best Black IPA in the world. Ratebeer 100. ABV is 9.9%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24. Black Maria Black Maria is another To Øl take at a Black IPA, but in this case it s an IPA using dark roasted Carfala malts, (vs a hoppy stout ). The result is a drier product with bitter chocolate notes that pair with the bitter and fruity aromas of the hops. For the hops, a mix of Columbus, Centennial, Galaxy and Cascade were used. An interesting pairing with the Black Malts and Body Salts to experience the different variants in the same style! Ratebeer 98. ABV is 8.1%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24. Garden of Eden Brewed with guava, apricot, papaya, passionfruit and mango juices, this IPA based beer generates an explosion of tropical fruit aromas and flavours. Quite intense and very much To Øl. Great for summer. Ratebeer 92/98. ABV is 6.4%. Available in 330ml bottles and cans, case of 24. Dangerously Close to Stupid An Imperial IPA with a close to stupid amount of Citra and Centennial Hops (147 IBU). The result is bright, crisp, smooth and well balanced with big flavors of sweet malts and fruit. The guys think it is dangerously easy to drink Ratebeer 99. ABV is 9.3%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24.

Shamelessly Barrel Aged Shamelessly is a big, Belgian Strong Ale aged in oak barrels for 6 month. The woody notes softly balance the warm and round body that is backed up by a smooth Trappist ale yeast, which in turn adds notes of spice and dried fruits. Typically complex, there are additional notes of tropical fruits and sweet caramel malts. Ratebeer 91. ABV is 10%. Available in 375ml bottles, case of 12. Shameless Santa To Øl s winter beer and the base for the Shamelessly. Right on style as a Belgian Strong with a good helping of caramel malts and sugar candi; and a nice yeast profile. But also a bit like an American Barley Wine with unique fruity hops. Complex. Good year around. One for the cellar Ratebeer 90. ABV is 10%. Available in 750 ml bottles, case of 6. Snowball To Øl s original Saison. Here s the English translation from the To Øl guys: Enough with heavy dark obnoxious sweet super malty x-mas and winter beers. When you eat heavy duck with fat gravy, the last thing you want is another heavy sweet malt liquor! NO! You want something that can help you digest the dinner, ease you stomach and cleanse your throat. And that is exactly what Snowball Saison will do. It is a SUPER sparkling crisp and dry Saison that has a lactic refermentation and is dry hopped over and over to give the beer a crisp and smooth tart finish (not to mention... there is a lot of hops of course...) Have a nice winter! Ratebeer 97. ABV is 8%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24. Yeastus Christus Another Saison, and another English translation from the To Øl guys: Is Jesus alive? We don t know. Did Jesus get offspring descendants that are living today? We don t know. But since God created everything, you could call this a collab with God. This a rustic bretty farmhouse IPA, loaded with different grains, hops and godly intervention. Ratebeer 95. ABV is 7.4%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24.

Final Frontier The sequel to To Øl s hop devil "First Frontier" is here and the name is Final Frontier. It is a hoppy DIPA with a little more of everything compared to its predecessor. A good dose of Simcoe, Centennial, and Columbus hops on a big caramel malt base. Ratebeer 98. ABV is 9%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24. Baltic Frontier This puppy is an IPA beaten with juniper berries and sea-buckthorn, and trashed with hops. It is a celebration of a potent beer culture shared between Scandinavia and the Baltic region. A reasonable dose of Simcoe, Centennial, and Cluster hops plus Seabuckthorn and Juniper Berries. Ratebeer 91/97. ABV is 6.5%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24. Sur Yule Sur Yule is a sour winter Pale Ale, hopped with Vic Secret and finished with cherries, reminiscent of Christmas pudding! Fruity, tart, and bitter Super clean and refreshing. Ratebeer 84. ABV is 5.4%. Available in 750ml bottles, case of 6.

Brouwerij Kees! - the Netherlands Kees Bubberman, the Emelisse brewer of fame, has started his own brewery! Same philosophy as before great base beer with barrel variants. And just like Emelisse, Kees! is getting great reviews in Europe. Kees! Pale Ale Citra Generally it s hard for European Pale Ales to compete with their hoppy North American cousins. But this one is different. Clearly demonstrating Kees talents and the beauty of Citra, this ale is a contender and worth a try. Bright and fruity, with limes and tropical fruit on a clean malty base. Only a limited number of cases at this time. Ratebeer 93. ABV is 4.6%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 12. Kees! American Barley Wine Lighter than Kees previous 15% behemoth, this barley wine is still big and full, and worthy of cellaring. Somewhat sweet now, there are a multitude of flavors including rich caramel malts, oranges, ripe fruit, and vanilla. A great first iteration that is still easy to drink now. Ratebeer 97. ABV is 11.5%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 12. Kees! Export Porter 1750 Don t get fooled by the name this is really a Russian Imperial Stout, and just as good if not better than some of Kees previous iterations. Big and complex. Smooth and slightly warming. Bittersweet with roasted malts, caramel, dark chocolate, black coffee, licorice and molasses. Yummy. Top notch. A great base for barrel variants. Ratebeer 99 ABV is 10.5%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 12.

Brekeriet - Sweden Brekeriet is the three brothers Ek; Christian, Andre and Fredrick who brew only tank and barrel fermented Brett and sour beer. Starting in 2010 they have produced some incredible beers and generated a lot of buzz at European festivals.. Brekeriet Cassis Brekeriet Cassis is a sour ale mainly fermented with Brettanomyces. Black currants are added during the secondary fermentation and Brett loves berries. Big, thick flavors of tart cranberries, currants, and raspberries. Ratebeer 98. ABV is 5.4%. Available in 750ml bottles, case of 12. Brekeriet Lady in Satin The Lady in Satin is a big sour with lots of fruity flavors and aromas of grapes, green apples, and citrus; nicely displaying both barrel and hops. All on a nice base of characteristic Brett with additional light floral notes. Very dry. Ratebeer 93. ABV is 9%. Available in 750ml bottles, case of 12.. Brekeriet Sour & Salt The Brekereit Gose equivalent brewed with salt and coriander, and fermented as a sour. Crisp and refreshing. Tangy and salty. Nice flavors of lemons, coriander/spice and wheaty malts. Ratebeer 90. ABV is 9%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24.

Brekeriet Vendetta Vendetta is a sour blonde saison aged on Nieport barrels. Hoppy and fruity; tart and lactic. Hard to get Ratebeer 90. ABV is 5%. Available in 750ml bottles, case of 12. Brekeriet Argouse Argouse is a sour Brett fermented beer with sea buckthorn added in the secondary fermentation. Creamy brett lambic flavors cut with sharp fruit. Ratebeer 93. ABV is 5.2%. Available in 750ml bottles, case of 12. Brekeriet Blondette Blondette is a sour ale fermented on oak barrels with several wild yeast and lactic acid bacteria strains. Pours a bright amber with full head. Aromas of citrus, oak, and candied fruit. Flavors of toasted oak, dry tangerines, and quince. Distinctive toastiness. Ratebeer 97. ABV is 6%. Available in 750ml bottles, case of 12. Brekeriet Sourbon As it sounds, a Bourbon barrel aged sour amber ale. Pours an orange brown with moderate head. Aromas of sour orange peel, funk, green oak and sour wheat. Flavors of sour candy - very tart - tangerines and tangy sharp lemons with a hint of bourbon. Why drink a bourbon sour when you can drink a Sourbon? Ratebeer 93. ABV is 5.5 %. Available in 750ml bottles, case of 12.

Het Uiltje The Netherlands Het Uiltje, (the Owl), is a relatively new brewery in Haarlem founded by Robbert Uyleman. Brewing mighty big beers since 2012, the guys have maintained a series of incredible (subtle to chewy) barrel aged stouts along with a variety of porters, barley wines and American IPA s. Some are so big (unfortunately) that they are no longer beers to some of our astute Liquor Boards (alas). Het Uiltje - Ransuil The long-eared owl is a rich Imperial Stout aged in French oak barrels. Massive and full bodied with chocolate, coffee, anise, and vanilla, it s balanced with a ton of hops and a wee bit of peat. Nice and warm. A great cellaring beer or a great base for more barrel aging... Ratebeer 99. ABV is 10.5%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24. Het Uiltje Oh Buurman One has to look to a 1980 s Dutch TV show to get the name, but regardless it s a very nice Barley Wine. And it s the American style, stuffed with lots of Pacific NorthWest hops and a bit of orange peel. It s full, sweet, fruity, and big. Ratebeer 86. ABV is 11.8%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24. Het Uiltje - Scheeuwuil The loud owl lives up to its name as an Imperial IPA. According to the guys this one is a double IPA as a double IPA should be, and a full bodied palate wrecker of a hop bomb. Well Okay then Dry hopped to get all those tropical, fruity, piney and citrusy aromas and flavours in there. It s big too Ratebeer 96. ABV is 9%. Available in 330ml bottles, case of 24.

Amager - Denmark Amager is a small Danish craft brewer noted for incredible and sometimes zany beers, ranging from hoppy West Coast IPAs, to big thick stouts. Several great collaborations with other European and US breweries are regularly produced. Started by brewers Morten Valentin Lundsbak and Jacob Storm in 2007, a full brewery opened just outside Copenhagen on the island of Amager in 2011. Hr. Frederiksen Named after a friend of the brewery this beer is pitch-black and full-bodied with lots of dry roasted malt, dark berries, and sweet dark chocolate. Here s what the guys say: this beer is an Imperial Stout that is said to resemble it s namesake s pitch-black humor and powerful personality. Modeled after an American style, it is dense and creamy, with a light brown head that leaves a delicate lace in the glass. Eight different malts are used for color and texture, and Centennial hops balance the roasty bitterness, while adding floral, fruity aromas. Ratebeer 100. ABV of 10.5%. Available in 500 ml bottles, case of 12 Batch 1000 An IPA that comes across as Imperial. One of Ratebeer s top 50, Batch 1000 as the name implies is the recipe from the 1000 th brew at Amager. Hops are added at every stage, one kind during the mashing and the boil, two others in the whirlpool, and finally three more are added during both the first and second dry hopping. Aromas and flavors of candied fruit, grapefruit, and muted pine. An incredible experience. Ratebeer 99/100. ABV of 6.5%. Available in 500ml bottles, case of 12 Chad, King of The Wild Yeasts A collaboration with Crooked Stave resulted in this yeasty, hoppy, and sour Farmhouse Ale. Fruity with aromas and flavors of passionfruit, melons, and pineapple; hoppy with pine and spicy resin; and a bit Bretty. Both tart and slightly bitter. Tasty and easy to drink with a relatively low ABV. Uniquely Amager with a hint of Crooked Stave. Ratebeer 94. ABV is 5%. Available in 500ml bottles, case of 12.

The Sinner Series - Pride Part of a series of seven sins/beers, Pride is the Russian Imperial Stout. More from the boys: We thought about this for a long time: what kinda beer would give us the utmost feeling of pride in The Sinner Series? Well, if you know Amager Bryghus you already know that Imperial Stouts have a special place in our hearts. So Pride simply had to be an Imperial Stout. What is special about this take on the style is that we boiled the h out of it. Actually we boiled it for 6 hours, making for a richer and fuller version. We would never dare calling this the perfect Imperial Stout that would be taking pride way too close to hubris! Needless to say, a tasty brew with aromas of milk chocolate, roasted malts, and coffee; with initial flavors of fruit and sweet chocolate followed by bitter dark chocolate. Ratebeer 98. ABV is 10%. Available in 500ml bottles, case of 12..
