The Basic RiderCurse (fr license waiver) and the Basic RiderCurse 2 License Waiver include an nline cmpnent that must be cmpleted befre yu cme t campus t take the classrm and riding prtin. The MSF Basic ecurse must be cmpleted within 30 days f yur n campus class. If yu have cmpleted the e- curse mre than 30 days befre the class start date, yu must re-take the ecurse (yu can re-take it fr free) by lgging int Blackbard. Keep in mind the e-curse takes abut 3 hurs t cmplete hwever, yu can stp and start and wrk at yur wn pace. T access the MSF Basic ecurse yu will need a username and passwrd frm the cllege. If yu are a brand new student these credentials will be generated and sent t the permanent address n file after yu enrll in the curse with ur ffice. MOTORCYCLE RIDER COURSES 2017 Basic RiderCurse (fr License Waiver) Students: Meet Instructr in Administratin Building, Rm 105. (Nrth Rad entrance t campus 2 nd building n the right). Curse Participant Eligibility: Any individual, 16 years f age r lder, wh wishes t participate in a NYSMSP (New YrkState Mtrcyclist Safety Prgram), and receive the rad test waiver upn successful cmpletin f the Basic Rider Curse (MSF BRC), must pssess a valid NYS driver s license OR a valid NYS DMVissued mtrcycle driver s license. Prerequisite: Students must be able t ride abicycle. Any persn yunger than 18 years must als have the written permissin f his/her parent r legal guardian. (See Item 3 n reverse under Bring with yu.) T qualify fr the mtrcycle rad test waiver, the student must hld a current and valid New Yrk State driver s license and will be required t btain a mtrcycle learner s permit prir t using the cmpletin card fr endrsement. A permit is n lnger required t participate in the curse. Graduated licensing laws apply fr the mtrcycle endrsement fr persns under age 18. Per NYS DMV Regulatin: 1.
