PERONI RED Peroni Red is Italy s number one beer! Unlike the more famous Peroni Nastro Azzurro, the red labelled Peroni Red offers a slightly darker colour with a more pronounced malty and hoppy characteristics. The Peroni brewery was established in 1846 in Vigevano, Lombardia. From then, Peroni has grown to become Italy s most recognised beer and furthermore, Peroni Red is the most widely consumed beer throughout the Italian Peninsula. MENABREA The Birra Menabrea 1846 lager is brewed using light barley malts and maize, for a light, crisp lager style. A special, proprietary yeast strain, and a more significant amount of hops than is usual for a lager beer add to the aromatic complexity of the beer. This, combined with a fairly high alcohol level, makes for a very full and flavourful, yet still refreshing lager. Beer is all about the flavour and the bubbles and Menabrea has both in bucket loads. Malt, maize and hops are the base of this brew, turning it into a complex drink. It s super fragrant, with a hint of ginger blossom, orange peel and malty notes, then a deliciously refreshing dry hoppy bitterness on the finish. A very pure beer. 151

CRAFT SELECTION ISAAC WAYAN NAZIONALE ALE The creamy head, the cloudy, apricot colour and the scent of yeast and citrus, which blend into spicy harmonies of coriander and peeled oranges, call you from the glass. Isaac is ideal as an aperitif, is perfect with fresh dishes and light vegetable appetizers, and goes well with fish too. Refreshing to the palate, it has a light body and is very easy to drink. 5 cereals = Barley, Spelt, Wheat, Rye, Buckwheat. 9 spices, of which 5 peppers, in a renewed mix. Fizzy and refreshing, with a light, slightly coloured colour. Its aromas are reminiscent of the countryside and sunsoaked citrus orchards, and perfectly combine with the notes of orange blossoms, pear and bergamot. Its elegance goes well with shellfish and fish dishes, white meat and fresh cheese. The first 100% Italian Beer made with Italian ingredients. An intentionally simple beer, Italian water, barley malt, hops, yeast and 2 Italian spices (Bergamot and Coriander) which combine to create harmony and originality. A beer which suggests more or less daring combinations, but more importantly marks a turning point in the Italian production of craft beer. SUPER BITTER Super Bitter, it undoubtedly follows the current trend of bitter beers, but without taking it too far! Super Bitter has sure plenty of hoppy scents given by the generous use of a particular type of American Hop called Amarillo, but it remains true to its Baladin identity and strikes a perfect balance with notes of caramel, dried fruit (just a hint) and the bitterness of the hops.
