Companies carrying the label do everything they can to minimalize the effect of their business on nature and the environment. Hotel Drachten has been awarded Green Key Gold! For companies pursuing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), it is increasingly important that products have been produced in a sustainable way and have been traded fairly. In our menu, diverse items have been underlined and a logo is presented next to the dish. The meaning of these logos can be found below: European organic label The European organic label indicates that a product complies with the EU regulations for organic agriculture. These regulations are based on the preservation of the environment, nature, and landscape and the welfare of animals. No chemical pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or artificial fertilisers have been used. Farmers do not use any genetically modified seeds and cattle farmers work in an animal-friendly way. Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) The MSC label guarantees the sustainable management of fish stocks and to limit damage to marine life. "Better Life" mark The Dutch Animal Protection Foundation has developed the Better Life mark to support animal-friendly products. The quality requirements are registered in agreements with the producer and are being audited by an independent organisation. Fairtrade label Fairtrade aims to market products for which a fair price has been paid to the producers in the country of origin. Vegetarian This logo indicates that the dish is vegetarian or that a vegetarian version can be made. Please notify the waiting staff if you desire a vegetarian option. Allergens Are you allergic? High Tea Every day you can come enjoy a nice High Tea in our brasserie. We will give you a warm welcome with a welcome cocktail. After this, you can enjoy a variation of sweet treats as well as diverse savoury items, wraps and scones. The High Tea lasts two hours. In this time we will serve you unlimited tea varieties, but you can also opt for coffee.* Price: 14,50 per person Are there children among your company? They get to enjoy their own High Tea, including: Fresh fruit cocktail, two pancakes with syrup and powdered sugar, bottle of soda of their choice and a kid s ice cream. Price child 4 up and until 11 years old 8,50, child up and until 3 years old free. The High Tea is possible with two participants or more.
