Your Questions Answered How much is the deposit? To confirm and secure your Wedding date the Queens Hotel would require a nonrefundable deposit of 850.00. When should we meet to discuss our requirements? You are welcome to visit the Queens Hotel as often as you would like, however, a final meeting will be arranged approximately 6 weeks prior to your wedding to confirm and finalise all your details, along with providing final numbers and payment. Who will be our contact on the day? Our events department will be organizing and guiding you through the planning process. The day itself will be run by our Duty Manger/ Banqueting Manager and their team. All our staff are very experienced and skilled in the smooth running of such events. What are the menu options? We offer a variety of choice for our guests. From our banqueting menu you may choose one choice of starter, main course and dessert for all guests. We can of course cater for special dietary requirements; just discuss any requirements with our events department. If you have any special requests please do let us know and we can ask the Chef to price any special requests for you. Are the prices within this brochure subject to change? Yes, our pricing is subject to a slight increase every year. Please ask a member of our events team for more information. Do you have facilities to cater for disabled guests? Due to the nature of the steps at the entrance to the hotel wheelchair access is available at the side of the hotel in Osborne Road. The lift will then give you access to all floors. A toilet for the disabled is situated just outside the Elizabeth Room on the ground floor and we have a large bedroom which is fully equipped with handrails, wet room and extra wide doors for your ease and comfort.
Making a Booking To make a provisional booking, please telephone or email us with your details, your approximate number of guests and your desired date. Popular dates in the hotel diary do book up over a year in advance so it is advisable to reserve as soon as possible. Once we have confirmed availability we will place your booking on a provisional hold for 14 days and we will write to you to confirm the details. After this time, all unconfirmed bookings may be released without notice due to high demand for weddings and functions at the Queens Hotel. To confirm your booking a non-refundable deposit of 850 is required alongside a signed copy of the hotels Terms and Conditions. Please inform the hotel at this stage how many bedrooms you would like to reserve and the quantity of each room (e.g. how many doubles, singles and family rooms). We are able to reserve a maximum of 20 rooms, subject to availability, these are distributed to your guests on a first-come-first-served basis.
