WELCOME TO OUR 2016 CASK COLLECTION With a rich heritage dating back to 1760, we are passionate about beer and brewing - not only do we craft our own range of multi award winning beers but we also have access to over 120 ales on a permanent basis, together with a rolling seasonal programme of brews every month. Handpicked by Lacons Head Brewer and the team, we have identified a broad range of beers from fellow Brewers large, small, niche and mainstream to ensure you can find the perfect beer for your customers each week of the year. We have chosen twelve Cask Champions for 2016, which are permanently available. These include our very own Lacons Encore - voted The Best Bitter in the World at the World Beer Awards alongside favourites such as Black Sheep s Bitter and Adnams Ghostship to name but two. We also welcome back Cornwall s St Austell Brewery as our Regional Champion Brewer, who feature an additional ale with us each month alongside their flagship brand Tribute. Each month we also tour the UK and feature a selection of some of the finest ales that are brewed across the country. Making their debut in 2016 are Stoke s Titanic Brewery, Loughborough s Charnwood and East London s Hackney amongst many others. As Anglia s leading cask supplier, we are also proud to unveil our Brewer s Choice. Each month our Head Brewer has chosen an additional Brewery, from which a range of their beers can be ordered for delivery during the forthcoming month. For example in March, Brass Castle are our Brewer s Choice and anything from their range can be pre ordered in February. This is great if you hosting a beer festival, tap takeover or simply looking for something a little bit different for your customers. Further information is available on our website. Plato once said, He was a wise man who invented beer and we heartily agree. We hope you enjoy this year s collection as much as we have tasting them. Cheers! Trevor Hourican Director
