FITOSANITARY ACTION: Herbicide. ACTIVE INGREDIENT: Fluazifop-P-butyl ( TECHNICAL INFORMATION FANTASMA 12.5 EC FORMULATION AND CONCENTRATION: Emulsifiable concentrate MODE OF ACTION: FANTASMA 12.5 EC is a systemic post-emergence herbicide that controls perennial and annual gramineous; FANTASMA 12.5 EC is rapidly absorbed by the leaves and other green parts of the weeds, it s being mobilized through the conducting tissues (xylem and phloem). Finally it accumulates in the growing points, affects the meristematic tissues at the nodes of the stems and rhizomes buds, stopping the growth. PHYTOTOXICITY: It is totally selective in broadleaf crops is. It is harmful or lethal to all gramineous plants. COMPATIBILITY: It is not compatible with hormonal herbicides, it is advisable to be used alone. TOXICOLOGY: Toxicological category: IV Oral DL 50 : Acute oral: rat: 3.680 mg/kg Inhalation LC 50 : Acute subcutaneous: rat: >6.050 mg/kg Warning phrase: Caution Toxicological band: green HOW TO USE OR APPLICATION: APPLICATION EQUIPMENT: Knapsack sprayer or equipment powered by tractor or aircraft. Before using sprinkler equipment, make sure that it is in good working condition. Before applying FANTASMA 12,5 EC, calibrate the terrestrial equipment with water to make sure it is applying the right dose. With terrestrial equipment it is advisable to use fan nozzles TJ 8001-8002 or its equivalent HOW TO PREPARE THE MIXTURE: Wear personal protection equipment before using and handling FANTASMA 12,5 EC. Just like any chemical product contact with the mixture has to be avoided. In order to dose the right amount into the tank for the sprinkler, a measuring cup should be used. According to the FANTASMA 12,5 EC dose to be used, mix it into the tank with clean water, mix it into the tank with clean water up to the middle; then, complete the required water volume. Stir in order to obtain a homogeneous mixture before spraying.

maximum RECOMENDED USE IN: NICARAGUA Crop Bean Sugar cane Saccharum officinarum Weed PRECAUTIONS: STORAGE AND TRANSPORT: Do not store nor transport Fantasma 12,5 EC next to food for human or animal consume, fertilizer nor seeds. Store and transport its original container, in a fresh and ventilated place, away from children or mentally disabled people. PERIOD OF APPLICATION: As an herbicide: Depends on the re-infestation of weeds in the crop. Reapply 50-60 days if necessary. As ripener: A single application 4 weeks before cutting. PERIOD BETWEEN THE LAST APPLICATION AND THE HARVEST: 8 days. Pineapple: Not less of 50 days. PERIOD FOR REENTRY TO THE TREATED AREA: 2 hours or after the product has dried on the treated weeds foliage. INTOXICATION SYMPTOMS: It can be irritant for skin and eyes. If ingested can produce nausea, vomit with abdominal pain, diarrhea and other associated symptoms FIRST AID: INGESTION: Do not induce vomit. If the person is conscious, give to drink four tablespoons of activated charcoal in half a glass of water. Seek medical attention CONTACT WITH THE SKIN: Remove all clothing and wash the affected part with plenty of water and soap for 15 minutes. INHALATION: Remove the patient to a ventilated and dry place. Loosen clothing and check respiration. CONTACT WITH THE EYES: open the eyelids and flush eyes with a continuous flow of clean water for 15 minutes. Check with a doctor. ANTIDOTE AND MEDICAL TREATMENT: It has not an antidote. Perform a gastric lavage, take into account gastric content aspiration. Treat symptomatically. MEASURES FOR ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION: toxic to fishes and crustaceans, do not pollute rivers, lakes and ponds with this product, its containers or empty packages.

HANDLING CONTAINERS, PACKAGES, WASTES AND REMAINDERS: In case of a spillage collect them with saw dust or another absorbing material, collect in a hermetic container and hand it to the distributor. Use the full content of the container. When it is empty, wash and rinse three times with clean water and add the resulting rinsing water to the mixture already prepared. Disable empty containers. If the country has an official container recollection and disposal program, deliver them to the nearest recollection center or dispose of them in agreement with the instructions of the product distributor.
