History Santa Carolina is Carolina Wine Brands foundational brand, being considered the backbone of its history, prestige and tradition. Founded in 1875, it is among the oldest wineries of Chile. 1875 1889 1880 Don Luis Pereira founds Viña Santa Carolina, to honour his beloved wife Carolina Iñiguez. The cellar is built. It was designed by the french architect Émile Doyère. Declared National Monument in1973, and it is still used nowadays. Reserva de Familia wins the gold medal at the Exposition Universelle de Paris, being the first chilean wine being recognised in an international level.

Luis Pereira 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon D.O. Chile This icon wine depicts the seamless fusion between the past and the present. Following Santa Carolina s original recipe and combining current knowledge and experience, grapes harvested from ancient vines in the best Chilean valleys were crafted into LP, a wine named after Luis Pereira, the daring and visionary entrepreneur who founded Viña Santa Carolina in 1875.
