Silversmith Brewing Company A one-of-a kind, small scale brewery located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, in an ivy-covered former church built around 1894. Whenever possible, Silversmith Brewing Company uses locally produced ingredients and supports local farmers. Each batch produced is fresh, unfiltered and unpasteurized with no extra ingredients or preservatives. A lot of time and care is put into their methods to ensure the beer is extra tasty. Black Lager Brewed with a classic interpretation of the Schwarzbier style. It conforms to the Bavarian Beer Purity Standards of 1516 (only 4 ingredients). It has a very subtle malty aroma. It s remarkably light-bodied with mild, toasted malt flavours reminiscent of coffee & chocolate. It finishes like a classic lager; crisp, clean and dry. Its bold appearance and easygoing character put in a category all its own. Best served cold (4 C). $8/glass $8.25/glass Hill 145 Golden Ale A relatively low alcohol version of the style with bountiful tropical aromatics, there are hints of malt flavours, a subtle rye spiciness and remarkably dry finish. True to style, this beer is easydrinking and very approachable. April 9, 2017 will mark the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge, with include the capture of Hill 145 by the WWI Canadian Forces. Hill145 Golden Ale is brewed as a celebration for the Canadian spirit and a node of gratitude to those Canadians who serve. Silversmith is proud to participate in the 2017 Vimy anniversary events. $8/glass $8.25/glass Niagara Brewing Company Niagara Brewing Company sits on the former site of the Foxhead Inn, one of the first luxury hotels to be built in Niagara Falls. Built and operated by Howard Fox, the Inn opened in 1925 as a subsidiary of the Clifton House, a hotel that would be lost to a dramatic fire on New Year s Eve in 1932. From those ashes came development and progress, leading to the creation of Falls Avenue Resort and Niagara Brewing Company. And here at our brewery we honour the spirit of the fox by employing daring processes, bold flavours, and a sharp and fiery desire to create the perfect beer. House Niagara Craft Spirits Niagara Falls Craft Distillers State of the art eco distillery, the Distillery boasts a 1,000 litre copper kettle with stainless steel fermenters. The column still has 21 plates to distill all our clear spirits, providing a finished product that is remarkably clean and pure. The still is fully automated to control temperature and pressure for better consistency and quality. We distill to a very high proof before cutting our products with water filtered through our own Reverse Osmosis system. We use the same water that creates the roar and mist of the Falls which originates from the largest freshwater eco-system on earth.
