This inaugural tasting event takes place Saturday, April 29, between noon and 6pm at the Southridge Sports and Events Complex. Thirty-six Washington state breweries will be on hand with knowledgeable owners, brewers, or brewery representatives serving up these creative and delicious local brews. The commission's inaugural Tri-Cities Craft Beer Festival hopes to duplicate the success of the Spokane, Bremerton, Tacoma, and Everett tasting festivals which have grown to average better than 3,000 attendees per event over the last several years. Tasting festivals are a great marketing tool for the state's breweries and the primary source of income for the Washington Beer Commission. All event proceeds get reinvested in the marketing and promotion of Washington state craft beer and its 353 statewide breweries. Here is the list of amazing beers pouring at the inaugural Tri-Cities Craft Beer Festival: Bale Breaker Brewing - Yakima 1) Topcutter IPA Our flagship IPA is a well-balanced yet aggressive West Coast IPA that showcases Yakima Valley hops at their finest. Late additions of Simcoe, Citra, Loral, and Mosaic give this beer its complex citrus, fruity, and floral aroma and flavor. Named for a unique piece of farm equipment that removes hop vines from the trellis during the annual hop harvest, Topcutter IPA delivers loads of hoppiness all year long. 6.8% ABV / 70 IBU 2) Bottomcutter IIPA Double dry-hopped with homegrown Yakima hops, Bottomcutter IIPA may be light in color but is packed with citrus and pine hop character. This Imperial IPA is brewed to finish dry, perfect for

the combination of Citra, Simcoe, and Ekuanot hops. As the bottomcutter is a tractor that leads the topcutter through the fields during harvest, this beer will lead to a new appreciation for our valley s hops. 8.2% ABV / 100 IBU 3) Raging Ditch Dry-Hopped Blonde Named for the maze of irrigation ditches that flow throughout the Yakima Valley s rich farmland, Raging Ditch Dry-Hopped Blonde will quench a drinker s thirst on a hot summer afternoon. While on the lighter side, Bale Breaker s newest seasonal beer is dry-hopped with two exciting new hop varieties. Ekuanot imparts the bright citrus hop notes, while the still-experimental hop variety, HBC344, provides a touch of tropical fruit character. 5.3% ABV / 20 IBU Black Raven Brewing - Redmond 1) Trickster India Pale Ale Well balanced IPA, light fruit, citrus and piney hop aroma with a full hop flavor and balanced malt background. 6.9% ABV / 70 IBU 2) CoCo Jones Coconut Porter Rich brown porter with caramel and chocolate flavors harmonized with freshly toasted coconut. 5.6% ABV / 38 IBU Blewett Brewing - Leavenworth 1) Crikside Citra IPA Our Crikside Citra IPA is a homage to a benchmark of the American IPA style. It s brewed in a traditional Northwest style; American base malt and crystal malt create the big body and supporting grainy sweetness, while Citra and Mosaic hops deliver pronounced citrus with a dominant grapefruit aroma and flavor. In the glass you get a pale amber color, hop intensity and malt. 7% ABV / 65 IBU 2) Nut Brown Ale Styled after southern English brown ales, our Nut Brown is a great all-around beer. It's mild enough for light beer drinkers, but characterful enough for more experienced craft beer lovers. The finished product exhibits a deep copper color, fruit/caramel flavor and aroma with toasty, chocolatey notes and a hint of smokiness. 5.2% ABV / 22 IBU Bron Yr Aur Brewing - Naches 1) Beaver Deceiver Cream Ale A light American style ale, slated for easy drinking. 4.9% ABV / 19 IBU 2) Naches IPA Naches IPA with a citrusy and floral flavor from locally grown hops and well balanced bitterness. 6.2% ABV / 55 IBU Crucible Brewing - Everett 1) Wootz IPA Brewed with Citra, Simcoe and Amarillo. 6.9% ABV / 72 IBU 2) Metallurgy #4 IPA Brewed with El Dorado and Cascade. 6.5% ABV / 65 IBU 3) Not The Green Drink Kiwi Sour 4.6% ABV / 4 IBU 4) Blood Orange Smith & Weizen Bavarian Hefeweizen with blood Orange. 5.1% ABV / 14 IBU 5) Rising of the Moon Irish Red. 5% ABV / 21 IBU

Cascade and Perle hops present a fruity aroma and bitter finish. 6% ABV / 55 IBU Elysian Brewing - Seattle 1) Brewers Choice TBD 2) Brewers Choice - TBD Farmstrong Brewing - Mount Vernon 1) Cold Beer Skagit Pilsner 3.7% ABV 2) La Raza Mexican Lager 4% ABV 3) Mike in the Morning Coffee Porter (Nitro) 5.8% ABV Fish Brewing - Olympia 1) Hodgson's Bitter End IPA A medium-bodied, very hoppy India Pale Ale, Hodgson s Bitter End takes the classic approach to bitterness and adds a full bouquet of citrus aromas. 6.5% ABV / 65 IBU 2) Hatchery Creek India Pale Lager Combining the traditional German-style premium lager flavors and hopped with pungent Mosaic and Citra hops, the result is unusually tasty beer. 6.5% ABV / 60 IBU 3) Spire Mountain Dark & Dry Apple Cider The assertive tartness is balanced with hints of caramel & brown sugar. 5% ABV Fremont Brewing - Seattle 1) Summer American Pale Ale. This Sister is fittingly bitter and a little sweet but she will always be there for you Because Sisters Matter. 8.5% ABV / MYOB IBU 4) Gose

Our take on the traditional German style tart and refreshing with a hint of spice from the coriander and salt. 4% ABV / 10 IBU 5) Summer-ita Infused American Pale Ale. This beer has roasted flavor, aroma, and color from cold brew coffee. Smooth, rich mouthfeel comes from oats and Munich malt. Gold medal winner in the Coffee Beer category at the Great American Beer Festival in 2016! 4.5% ABV 3) Roger's Pilsner Yakima grown Czech-style Sterling hops give this refreshing pilsner a spicy and earthy hop aroma. Malt character is accentuated by a Bavarian Lager Yeast that ferments dry but round and complex. 4.9% ABV Ghostfish Brewing - Seattle 1) Peak Buster Double IPA This beer is beyond big! We piled a mountain of Equinox, Azacca, Centennial, and Summit hops on a heavy foundation of millet and buckwheat malts, then blew it sky-high with raw cane sugar. With over-the-top hop flavors of pine and passionfruit and a surprising stone-dry finish, this Giant is a force to be reckoned with! 9.5% ABV / 100+ IBU 2) Wild Bill s Un-Barley Wine A barley wine without barley sounds like an oxymoron, but the complex grain bill of malted buckwheat, toasted millet, and crystal rice malts is sure to surprise and satisfy the skeptics. Deep, full-bodied, and bursting with rich malt flavors of sweet bread, dulce de leche, and a hint of whisky. Brewed in memory of Willie Wild Bill Soles, deceased husband of Grouse Malting Company s head Maltstress Twila Soles. 9% ABV / 70 IBU 3) Shrouded Summit Belgian White Ale A hazy golden body capped with a snowy head.
